What is happening?

(Parsonage Lane, Barnston) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Parsonage Lane, Barnston in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 295m east of its junction with Chelmsford Road for a distance of approximately 50m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th June 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WC8NRR9M01 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole renewal works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Parsonage Lane, Chelmsford Road, Parsonage Lane and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 16th May 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Stevens Lane, Felsted) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Stevens Lane, Felsted in the District of Uttlesford, from both of its junctions with Rayne Road to its junction with Frenches Green Road a distance of approximately 350m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd June 2024 for 29 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231010526 - TWD). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while installation of new drainage works are undertaken by TWD.
An alternative route is available via Frenches Green Road, Rayne Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 16th May 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Felsted Road, Felsted) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Felsted Road, Felsted in the District of Uttlesford, from its junction with Evelyn Road for a distance of approximately 60m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th May 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WFGJLR3S01GM - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Felsted Road, School Lane, Main Road, Great Leighs Bypass Roundabout South, Great Leighs Bypass, Strawbrook Hill, Braintree Road, Sheepcotes Roundabout, Essex Regiment Way, Warners Farm Roundabout, Main Road, Hartford End, Chelmsford Road, Braintree Road, Watch House Green, Cock Green Road, Causeway End Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 2nd May 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, Uttlesford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) (Streetworks No.2) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those various lengths of roads in the District of Uttlesford
as detailed in the Schedule. The works are scheduled to commence after 2nd May 2024, as stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on One.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services.
Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while remedial works are undertaken by Gigaclear.
The Order came into effect on 2nd May 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
