What is happening?

(Dry Street, Langdon Hills) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Dry Street, Langdon Hills in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Northlands Approach to its junction with One Tree Hill a distance of approximately 1260m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd June 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2362824 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while drainage replacement works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Dry Street, High Road, Staneway, Laindon Link Roundabout, Laindon Link, Roundacre New Roundabout, Nether Mayne, Farm Roundabout, Nether Mayne and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 16th May 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Little Lullaway, Laindon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Little Lullaway, Laindon in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Ballards Walk for a distance of approximately 35m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd June 2024 for 15 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5021001311093 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains replacement works are undertaken by Cadent.
An alternative route is available via Great Knightleys, Ballards Walk and vice versa (with access only into Little Lullaway).
The Order will come into effect on 16th May 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Cranes Industrial Estate Slip Road To A127, Basildon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Cranes Industrial Estate Slip Road To A127, Basildon in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Gardiners Link Roundabout for a distance of approximately 40m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th May 2024 for 3 nights (21:00 - 05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (XJ002BAN18497-WHP3UK-TW9 - Hutchison 3G Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while telecom build works are undertaken by Hutchison 3G Ltd.
An alternative route is available via Gardiners Link, Gardiners Link Roundabout, Christopher Martin Road, East Mayne, Nevendon Road Roundabout, Southend Arterial Road Slip Road From A132 To A127 Westbound.
The Order came into effect on 2nd May 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Dry Street, Langdon Hills) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Dry Street, Langdon Hills in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Southway to its junction with One Tree Hill a distance of approximately 580m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th May 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008OGEA75755621 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken by Openreach. An alternative route is available via Dry Street, High Road, Staneway, Laindon Link Roundabout, Laindon Link, Roundacre New Roundabout, Nether Mayne, Fobbing Farm Roundabout, Nether Mayne and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 2nd May 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Southend Arterial Road, Rayleigh/Thundersley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Southend Arterial Road, Rayleigh/ Thundersley in the District of Rochford and Borough of Castle Point, from a point approximately where the Off Slip Road from the A127 to A129 is to a point where the On Slip Road from A129 to A127 is for a distance of approximately 855m (Westbound) and approximately 660m (Eastbound). The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th May 2024 for 5 nights (21:00 - 05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP20101193211 -Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while highway pump station maintenance works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Arterial Road, Rayleigh Weir Slip Road From A127 To A129, Rayleigh Weir Roundabout, Rayleigh Weir Slip Road From A129 To A127, Southend Arterial Road and vice versa.

(South Wash Road, Noak Bridge) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of South Wash Road, Noak Bridge in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Noak Hill Road Roundabout for a distance of approximately 50m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th May 2024 for 2 nights (21:00 - 05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (XJ003GBC-BAN21348-PH3 - Hutchison 3G Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while telecoms works are undertaken by Hutchison 3G Ltd.
An alternative route is available via Southend Arterial Road Slip Road From Noak Hill Road A127 Eastbound, Southend Arterial Road, Pipps Hill Road North, Wash Road, South Wash Road.
The Order came into effect on 2nd May 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, Borough of Basildon (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway & Temporary Introduction of a 40 MPH Speed Limit) (No.13) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those lengths of roads in the Borough of Basildon as specified in the schedule to this Order.
2. To temporarily introduce a 40mph speed limit in those lengths of roads in the Borough of Basildon as specified in the schedule to this Order.
3. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on those lengths of roads as specified in the schedule for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force.
4. "The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 2nd May 2024, exact dates will be specified on One.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road. (Various Roads, Borough of Basildon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) (No.12) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of road in the Borough of Basildon as specified in the schedule to this Order.
2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above length of road for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
