Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
ASHFORD AREA
A28 RYE ROAD, NEWENDEN, TN31 6FE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JUNE 2024
To allow replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of A28 Rye Road, Newenden, from 19.00 hours on 4th June 2024, with estimated completion by 05.00 hours on 5th June 2024, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Newenden Bridge, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via A28 Rye Road, Bodiam Road, Peters Green Road, Castle Hill, Shoreham Lane, Rock Hill, B2165 Northiam Road, Adams Lane, Horns Cross, Well House Hill, Perryman Cross, A28 Hastings Road, A28 Main Street, A28 Station Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
B2067 RUCKINGE ROAD, HAMSTREET, TN26 2JF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER MAY 2024
To allow replacement pole works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of B2067 Ruckinge Road, Hamstreet, on or after 21st May 2024, with estimated completion by 22nd May 2024, between the hours of 09.00 and 17.00, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction with Ashford Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via B2067 The Street, B2067 Cock Lane and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
ASH HILL, RUCKINGE. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER MAY 2024
To allow replacement pole works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Ash Hill, Ruckinge, on or after 21st May 2024, for up to 2 days, between the hours of 09.00 and 17.00, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of The Downs, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via Hamstreet Road, Bilsington Road, B2067 Ruckinge Road, Ashford Road, Stone Cross Road, Stonegate Lane, Ash Hill and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
ASHFORD ROAD, HAMSTREET, TN26 2EA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER MAY 2024
To allow Section 278 works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Ashford Road, Hamstreet, on or after 25th May 2024, for up to 16 days, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction with St Marys Close to Hamstreet Primary School, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via Ashford Road Junction With Bypass Link Road To Hamstreet, A2070 From J A2070/B2080 Roundabout To J A2042, Hamstreet Bypass, Marsh Road, The Street and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
FORGE LANE & WEST STREET, ASHFORD. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JUNE 2024
To allow replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Forge Lane & West Street, Ashford, from 19.00 hours on 4th June 2024, with estimated completion by 05.00 hours on 5th June 2024, or until the works have been completed.
The roads will be closed in their entirety, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via Godinton Road, Elwick Road, A2042 Station Road, A292 Somerset Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
HAMSTREET ROAD, RUCKINGE, TN26 2PL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER MAY 2024
To allow tree and vegetation works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Hamstreet Road, Ruckinge, on or after 23rd May 2024, for up to one day, between the hours of 09.30 and 16.30, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Dimon Villas, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via B2067 Ruckinge Road, B2067 Cock Lane, B2067 A2070 Marsh Road, A2070 Hamstreet Bypass, A2070 From J A2070/B2080 Roundabout To J A2042, Ashford Road Junction With Bypass Link Road To Hamstreet, A2070 Ashford Road, A2070 Hamstreet Road, Capel Road, Stone Cross Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
LONG LENGTH, KINGSNORTH, TN23 3GR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JUNE 2024
To allow replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Long Length, Kingsnorth, on or after 3rd June 2024, for up to 5 days, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Magpie Hall Road and Merino Way Roundabout, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via Magpie Hall Road, Ashford Road, Britannia Lane, Chart Road, Long Length and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
NACCOLT ROAD, WYE, TN25 5NX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER MAY 2024
To allow installation works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Naccolt Road, Wye, on or after 20th May 2024, for up to 19 days, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Lavington House, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via Naccolt Road, Hinxhill Road From Junction With Goodcheap Lane To Nackolt Road, Hinxhill Road, The Street, A2070 Kennington Road, A2070 Willesborough Road, A28 Canterbury Road, Harville Road, Bridge Street, Churchfield Way, High Street, Upper Bridge Street, Oxenturn Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
NORTONS LANE, TENTERDEN, TN30 6TB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER MAY 2024
To allow replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Nortons Lane, Tenterden, on or after 21st May 2024, for up to 2 days, between the hours of 09.00 and 17.00, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of The Grange, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via Nortons Lane, Readers Bridge Road, Grange Road, A28 Ashford Road, A262 Biddenden Road, Nortons Lane and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
SHOREHAM LANE, TENTERDEN, TN30 6EE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER MAY 2024
To allow repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Shoreham Lane, Tenterden, on or after 20th May 2024, for up to 2 days, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of ‘Cobham’, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via A28 Ashford Road, Grange Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
SHOTTENDEN ROAD, MOLASH, CT4 8HR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER MAY 2024
To allow dropped kerb works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Shottenden Road, Molash, on or after 20th May 2024, for up to 8 days, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of 2 Wells Cottages, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via Knockwood Lane, A252 Canterbury Road, A252 The Street, Shottenden Lane, Shottenden Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
SNUGHORNE LANE, SMARDEN, TN27 8PR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER MAY 2024
To allow drainage works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on Snughorne Lane, Smarden, on or after 22nd May 2024, for up to 1 day, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed for the entire length, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via The Cut, Burnthouse Lane, Smarden Bell Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
TUESNOAD LANE, BETHERSDEN, TN26 3EH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER MAY 2024
To allow maintenance works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Tuesnoad Lane, Bethersden, on or after 21st May 2024, for up to 4 days, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of The Annexe at number 2, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via Tuesnoad Lane, Wissenden Green, Wissenden Lane and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
