What is happening?

WARRINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make Orders under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

A5061 Knutsford Rd & Adj. St's

(Prohibition of Driving, Clearway & Suspension) Temporary Order 2024

The effect of which will be as follows: Prohibition of Driving & Clearway: A5061 Knutsford Rd from its jct. with Park Ave to its jct. with Grammar School Rd; Halla Way for its entire length; Brook Pl from its jct. with A56 Stockport Rd for 50m; Wash Ln from its jct. with A56 Stockport Rd for 50m;

Suspension of The Borough of Warrington (Various Roads) (Consolidation of One-Way Traffic) Order 1976 in so far as it relates to Article 3, Schedule 4 and the One Way on Grammar School Rd. The Order will be effective from 3rd June 2024 for 5 weeks, between 7pm & 1am.

The alternative route will be via Bridgefoot, Mersey St, Church St, Farrell St, Kingsway Nth, Kingsway Sth or via Thelwall Ln, Kingsway Sth, Kingsway Nth, Farrell St, Church St & Mersey St.

The restrictions are required for carriageway surfacing Ref: 7283684

Massey Brook Ln & Adj. St's, Lymm

(Prohibition of Driving & Clearway) Temporary Order 2024

The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving & clearway as follows: Massey Brook Ln from its jct. with Camsley Ln/Booth's Hill Ln to its jct. with Booth's Ln/ Weaste Ln; Massey Ave from its jct. with Massey Brook Ln for 25m; Booth's Ln from its jct. with Massey Brook Ln for 50m; Weaste Ln from its jct. with Massey Brook Ln for 50m. The Order will be effective from 3rd June 2024 for 5 weeks, between 8:30am & 5:30pm.

The alternative route will be via Camsley Ln, Stockport Rd, Knutsford Rd, Cliff Ln, Weaste Ln & vice versa or via Booth's Hill Rd, Elm Tree Rd, Cherry Ln, Booth's Ln & vice versa.

The restrictions are required for carriageway surfacing. Ref: 7282186

Pepper St & Adj. St's, Lymm

(Prohibition of Driving, Clearway & Suspension) Temporary Order 2024

The effect of which will be as follows: Prohibition of Driving & Clearway: Pepper St from its jct. with Rectory Ln to its jct. with The Peppers; Longbutt Ln from its jct. with Orchard Ave to its jct. with Scholars Green Ln (East); Grove Rise from its jct. with Pepper St for 20m; Domville Cl from its jct. with Pepper St for 20m; Clearway: Rose Bank Turning Head at western end adj. to Nos. 1 & 2; Scholars Green Ln from its jct. with Limefield Ave to its jct. with Longbutt Ln;

Suspension of The Borough of Warrington (Longbutt Ln, Lymm) (Prohibition of Driving) Order 1982 in its entirety. The Order will be effective from 17th June 2024 for 20 weeks. The restrictions will be carried out in phases as follows: Phase 1 Longbutt Ln 8am to 5:30pm for 1 to 2 weeks; Phase 2 Pepper St Works Closure 7pm to 1am up to School Summer Holidays; Phase 3 Pepper St Closure 24/7 from start of School Summer Holidays until completion of sett paved area; Phase 4 Longbutt Ln 8am to 5:30pm for 1 to 2 weeks, however will be in place as detailed & when signed on site & dates/details will also be confirmed at: www.warrington.gov.uk/pepper-street-lymm.

The alternative route will be via Orchard Ave, Longbutt Ln, Scholars Green Ln, Grammar School Rd, Higher Ln, Rectory Ln & vice versa.

The restrictions are required for highway maintenance works. Ref: 120808

Various Rd's in Burtonwood & Winwick

(Prohibition of Driving & Clearway) Temporary Order 2024

The effect of which will be to introduce the following: Prohibition of Driving & Clearway: Entire lengths of road: Pinewood Rd; Forshaws Ln; Winsford Dr; Church Walk; Ilex Ave; Eastwood Rd; Ash Rd; Part lengths of road: Phipps Ln from its jct. with Forshaw's Ln to its jct. with Green Ln; Colne Rd from property No. 6 to the triangle at the dead end; Melrose Ave from its jct. with Eastwood Ave to its jct. with Fir Tree Ln;

Clearway: B5204 Penny Ln from the playground to its jct. with Collins Green Ln; Golborne Rd from the public footpath to its jct. with Hermitage Cl. The Order will be effective from 3rd June 2024 for 5 weeks, between 8:30am to 5:30pm & between 9:30am to 3:30pm on Penny Ln, Golborne Rd & Phipps Ln only.

The alternative routes will be as follows: Eastwood Rd via Beechways, Dudlow Green Rd & vice versa; Melrose Ave via Melrose Ave, Bakewell Rd & vice versa; Phipps Ln via Forshaw's Ln, Lumber Ln, Green Ln & vice versa; Pinewood Rd via Melrose Ave, Camborne Rd, Fir Tree Ln & vice versa or via Melrose Ave, Fir Tree Ln & vice versa; Forshaws Ln via Broad Ln, Penny Ln, Collins Green Ln or via Lumber Ln, Green Ln, Phipps Ln & vice versa.

The restrictions are required for carriageway or footway surfacing. Ref: 7359148

Various Rd's in Great Sankey North & Whittle Hall

(Prohibition of Driving & Clearway) Temporary Order 2024

The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving & clearway as follows: Entire lengths of Road: Audre Cl; Campbell Cres; Clarence Ave; Halton Rd; Lingwood Rd; Part lengths of road: Wroxham Rd from the jct. at Cromdale Way to the end of the road south of the jct. with Kirkcaldy Ave; Belmont Cres from the jct. adj. to the gable of No. 4 to the jct. adj. to No. 32; Keith Ave from the jct. with Clarence Ave to the jct. with Cromdale Way; Kintore Dr from the jct. with Lingley Rd to the jct. with Cromdale Way; Phillips Dr from the jct. with Park Rd to the jct. with North View. The Order will be effective from 1st July 2024 for 6 weeks, between 8:30am & 5:30pm.

The alternative routes will be: Campbell Cres via Longwood Rd, Norfolk Dr, Park Rd & vice versa; Halton Rd via Charles Ave, Wilmot Ave & vice versa; Lingwood Rd via Norfolk Dr, Yarmouth Rd & vice versa; Wroxham Rd via Kirkcaldy Ave, Cromdale Way & vice versa; Kintore Dr via Lingley Rd, Park Rd, Wroxham Rd, Cromdale Way & vice versa; Phillips Dr via Park Rd, Charles Ave, Vine Cres & vice versa. The restrictions are required for road or footway surfacing. Ref: 7836424

Weaste Ln

(Prohibition of Driving, Clearway & Footway Closure) Temporary Order 2024

The effect of which will be to introduce a Prohibition of Driving, Clearway & Footway Closure on Weaste Ln from its jct. with Cliff Ln to it jct. with Halfacre Ln. The Order will be effective from 17th June 2024 until 4th September 2024.

The alternative route will be via Massey Brook Ln, A56 Camsley Ln/Stockport Rd, Knutsford Rd, Cliff Ln & vice versa.

The restrictions are required for the installation of a new drainage system. Ref: 8461709

Notice is hereby given that the Council made Orders under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Lumb Brook Rd, Appleton

(Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2024

The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on Lumb Brook Rd (unclassified) from its jct. with the classified section of Lumb Brook Rd to Witherwin Ave. The Order will be effective from 20th May 2024 for 1 day. The closure is required to allow EE to carry out essential maintenance works on its telecommunication equipment. Ref: 8350384

St Brides Cl, Penketh

(Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2024

The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on St Brides Cl from its jct. with Chapel Ln for its entire length. The Order will be effective from 13th May 2024 for 1 day. The closure is required to allow Openreach to install a new telecom pole. Ref: 8346984

The temporary restrictions will be in place as & when the signs are in place on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works.
