Stocksfield, Temporary Road Closure Due To Manhole Frames Replacement Works

Northumberland County Council Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(1) B6309 Hindley To Stocksfield, Stocksfield (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B6309 Hindley To Stocksfield from 55 metres north to 75 metres south of its junction with the road to Broomley Grange for a length of 130 metres in the County of Northumberland.

The Order is to be effective from the 13th May 2024 until the 25th May 2024. It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 13th May 2024 until the 15th May 2024 between the hours of 08:00 until 18:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 25th May 2024.

The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the B6309, C258, A695 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by R J Utilities Services Ltd on behalf of Openreach to replace two manhole frames and covers. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
