Sandy Lane - Road Closure to Facilitate the Safe Refurfacing of the Carriageway
What is happening?
BOROUGH OF ROCHDALE
(SANDY LANE, ROCHDALE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES ORDER) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles waiting at any time along Sandy Lane from its junction with Bury Road for a distance of 430 metres in a North Easterly direction to its Junction of Hudson Walk.
The Order is required to facilitate the safe Refurfacing of the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 08:00 hours until 18:00 hours each day on the 25th May 2024 until the 2nd June 2024.
The alternative route for this will be Bury road, Norden road, Bagslate Moor Road, Edenfield Road.
