The Borough Of Kirklees - Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic And (Suspension Of One Way Traffic)

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 - KIRKLEES COUNCIL

(CROW LANE, MILNSBRIDGE, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the following lengths of road in Milnsbridge, Huddersfeld:-
Road Closure
Crow Lane - from its junction with Royd Street to its junction with Scar Lane Point Closure
Savile Street - at its junction with Crow Lane 
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Royd Street, Greenway, Sycamore Avenue, Scar Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 27th May 2024 and remain in force until 1st June 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(HOLLOWGATE, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) AND (SUSPENSION OF ONE WAY TRAFFIC) (NO. 2) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Hollowgate, Holmfrth from a point outside property no. 5 to a point outside property no. 17 
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Hollowgate, Huddersfeld Road, Victoria Street and vice versa.
To facilitate the diversionary route the existing One Way Traffc restrictions on Hollowgate which relate to this closure only will be temporarily suspended for the duration of the closure (i.e traffc will be two way).
It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday, 28th May 2024 and remain in force until 31st May 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary). 

(HOLME LANE, SLAITHWAITE, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Holme Lane, Slaithwaite from its junction with Heath Farm Track to a point approximately 125 metres east of property no. 3 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. 
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Coal Gate, Bradshaw Lane, Laund Road, Intake Road, Heys Lane, Ing Head Road, Longlands Road, Bank Gate, Nabbs Lane and vice versa. 
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 13th May 2024 and remain in force until 15th May 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(STRIKE LANE, SKELMANTHORPE, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Strike Lane, Skelmanthorpe from a point outside property no. 7 to a point outside property no. 11 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
There is no alternative diversionary route available. Access maintained for residents and Emergency Service Vehicles only.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 13th May 2024 and remain in force until 15th May 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(ACRES LANE, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Acres Lane, Holmfrth from its junction with Harden Moss Road to its junction with Green Gate Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Acres Lane, Harden Moss Road, Greenfeld Road, Green Gate Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 13th May 2024 and remain in force until 31st May 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(BUTTERLEY LANE, NEW MILL, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Butterley Lane, New Mill from its junction with Hollin House Lane to its junction with Sheffeld Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Hollin House Lane, Meltham House Lane, Tenter Hill, Stalley Royd Lane, South View, Sheffeld Road and vice versa. 
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 13th May 2024 and remain in force until 31st May 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(DEAN LANE, HEPWORTH, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Dean Lane, Hepworth from its junction with Dean Bridge Lane to its junction with Cowcliff Hill Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Dean Bridge Lane, Town Gate, Far Lane, Cowcliff Hill Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 13th May 2024 and remain in force until 31st May 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(LEEDS ROAD, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 7) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of outbound cycle lane on Leeds Road, Huddersfeld from a point outside property no. 554 to a point outside property no. 627 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for cyclists affected by the closure will be available via the adjacent traffc lane.
It is intended that the closure will operate on Friday, 17th May 2024 only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(WELLFIELD ROAD, MARSH, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Wellfeld Road, Marsh from its junction with Adelphi Road to its junction with Carr Street PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Adelphi Road, Haywood Avenue, Carr Street and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday, 14th May 2024 and remain in force until 15th May 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(THUNDER BRIDGE LANE, KIRKBURTON, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Thunder Bridge Lane, Kirkburton from a point outside property no. 4 to a point to rear of 104 Penistone Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Thunder Bridge Lane, Penistone Road, Dam Hill and vice versa. 
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 13th May 2024 and remain in force until 2nd July 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(TOTTIES LANE, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Totties Lane, Holmfrth from a point outside property no. 36 to a point outside property no. 44 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Totties Lane, Fearnley Lane, Wooldale Road, Town End Road, Bill Lane, New Mill Road, Holmfrth Road, Greenhill Bank Road and vice versa. 
It is intended that the closure will operate on Monday, 13th May 2024 between 19:00 - 23:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(GREENHILL BANK ROAD, NEW MILL, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Greenhill Bank Road, New Mill from its junction with Moorbrook Mill Drive to its junction with Royds Avenue PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Royds Avenue, Lydgate Drive, Kirkroyds Lane, Holmfrth Road, Greenhill Bank Road and vice versa. 
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 13th May 2024 and remain in force until 17th May 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(NEW MILL ROAD, HONLEY/ BROCKHOLES, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of New Mill Road, Honley/Brockholes from its junction with Station Road to its junction with Smithy Place Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of New Mill Road, Huddersfeld Road, Holmfrth Road, New Mill Road, Station Road, Town Gate, Victoria Street, Huddersfeld Road, Woodhead Road and vice versa. 
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 13th May 2024 and remain in force until 17th May 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
