Holloway Hill (D169) Godalming Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 8 May 2024 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Holloway Hill (D169) Godalming which extends from its junction with Braemar Close (D5426) to the southeastern property boundary line of “10 Summerhouse Road”. Alternative Route – Holloway Hill (D169), Ockford Road (A3100), Shackstead Lane (D5404) and Tuesley Lane (D169) or the same route in reverse. The Order is required to allow BT Openreach to carry out telecom works which is anticipated to be completed within 4 days, between 9:30am and 2:00pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 14 May 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency vehicles, residents, pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times.

St Marys Road (D6915) East Molesey Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 08 May 2024 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of St Marys Road (D6915) East Molesey which extends from its junction with Matham Road (D6915) to the southwest property boundary line of “18 St Marys Road”. Alternative Route – No diversion route available. The Order is required to allow BT Openreach to carry out telecom works which is anticipated to be completed within 1 day, between 9:30am and 3:30pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 16 May 2024. 
Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency vehicles, residents, pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times.

Send Marsh Road (B368) Send, Guildford Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.1) 2024
On 08 May 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of; a) Send Marsh Road (B368) Send as extends from its junction with (D893) Maysfield Road to its junction with (X368) Green Drive; and (b) Suspend “The Surrey County Council Send Marsh Road (B368) Send, Guildford Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2023” insofar as it affects the length of road specified in part (a) of this Notice. Alternative Route: (B368) Send Marsh Road, (B368) Send Marsh Green, (B368) Send Marsh Road, (B2215) Portsmouth Road, (A247) Send Barns Lane, and (B368) Send Marsh Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to carry out water utility works for, or on behalf of Chevron TM. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 5 days between 8am and 6pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 20 May 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in force 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 
Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. Due to the nature of the works, it will not be possible to maintain vehicular access through the closure, and all vehicular traffic, including the emergency services will be required to use the signed diversion route. No sole access will be affected by this closure.

The Glanty (A308) Egham and Station Road (B3121) Addlestone Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 8 May 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate resurfacing of carriageway and/or major maintenance works, which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 13 May 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access for emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained when safe to do so and if necessary via the signed diversion route. In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period.

Ockham Road North (B2039) East Horsley and Ockham Road South (B2039) East Horsley Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
On 01 May 2024 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) and (7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of (a) Ockham Road North (B2039) East Horsley which extends from its junction with Woods End (X7338) to its junction with Ockham Road South (B2039); (b) Ockham Road South (B2039) East Horsley which extends from its junction with Ockham Road North (B2039) to its junction with Kingston Avenue (D615); (c) Suspend “The Surrey County Council Ockham Road North (B2039) East Horsley and Ockham Road South (B2039) East Horsley” “Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023” insofar as it affects those lengths of roads specified in Part (a) and Part (b) of this Notice. Alternative Route – Ockham Road North (B2039), Portsmouth Road (B2215), Clandon Road (A247), The Street (A247) And Epsom Road (A246) or the same route in reverse. This Order is required to allow BT Openreach to carry out telecom works which is anticipated to be completed within 1 day, between 9:30am and 3:30pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which commenced on 7 May 2024. Various Roads in Elmbridge and Spelthorne Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.1) 2024
On 8 May 2024 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to:- (a) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the lengths of roads specified in Schedule 1 and Schedule 2 to this Notice; and (b) revoke in part “Surrey County Council B369 Walton Road, B3379 Esher Road, B3379 Bridge Road and D6933 Hansler Grove, East Molesey Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023” insofar as it relates to Walton Road only. This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate asphalt preservation/carriageway treatment works and/or major maintenance works, which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 13 May 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Peaslake Road (D222) Ewhurst Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Peaslake Road (D222) Ewhurst which extends from the southwestern property boundary line of “Lake House” to the northeastern property access road to “Quarry Hill”. Alternative Route – Peaslake Road (D222), Ewhurst Road (D222), Walking Bottom (D228), Lawbrook Lane (D227), Pitch Hill (C46) and Peaslake Road (D222). The Order is required to allow SGN to carry out gas utility works, which is anticipated to be completed within 4 days, between 8:00am and 6:00pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 28 May 2024. The Council are satisfied that, in accordance with Section 3(2) of the Act, vehicular access to and from premises within the length of road in specified above, or accessible only therefrom may be restricted in order to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road or for preventing such danger from arising and/or preventing damage to the road. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in force 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. Access for emergency vehicles and residents will be maintained via the signed diversion route.

Prune Hill (D3191) Englefield Green Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Prune Hill (D3191) Englefield Green which extends from the western property boundary line of “Rose Bungalow” to the northwestern property boundary line of “Rusham Cottage”. Alternative Route – Prune Hill (D3191), Bakeham Lane (D3191), Egham Hill (A30), High Street (B3407), Church Road (B3407), Station Road (C10), Manorcrofts Road (C10), Whitehall Lane (D3187) and Prune Hill (D3191) or the same route in reverse. The Order is required to allow I and A Communications to carry out telecom works, which is anticipated to be completed within 2 days, between 9:00am and 4:30pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 30 May 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency vehicles, residents, pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times.

Cottimore Lane (D3814) Walton On Thames Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Cottimore Lane (D3814) Walton On Thames as extends from the north western junction of (D3819) Hillary Crescent to its south eastern junction of (D3819) Cottimore Crescent. Alternative Route: Stuart Avenue and Cottimore Avenue, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate sewer cover replacement works for, or on behalf of Thames Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 night, between the hours of 7pm and 11pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 04 June 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists.

Crocknorth Road (C44) East Horsley Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Crocknorth Road (C44) East Horsley as extends from its junction with the access to the property known as “Crocknorth Farm” to its junction with (C44) Green Dene. Alternative Route: Green Dene, (A246) Guildford Road, Beech Avenue, Critten Lane, and Crocknorth Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate tree felling works for, or on behalf of J and G Traffic Ltd. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 5 days, between the hours of 9.30am and 4pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 03 June 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.

Epsom Road (D4009) and Trodds Lane (D4009) Guildford Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of; (a) Epsom Road (D4009) Guildford; and (b) that length of Trodds Lane (D4009) Guildford as extends from its junction with (D4009) Epsom Road to its junction with (X5040) Abbots Way. Alternative Route: Trodds Lane, (A25) Shere Road, and (A25) Epsom Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to allow equipment to be placed on the carriageway for, or on behalf of Benchmark Permits Ltd. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 7 weeks, between the hours of 8am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 03 June 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists.

Various Roads in Guildford Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the lengths of; (a) roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice; and (b) suspend “The Surrey County Council Burrows Lane (D227) Gomshall Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023” in its entirety as it affects that length of road specified in part (1) of the Schedule to this Notice; (c) suspend “The Surrey County Council Burrows Lane (D227) Gomshall Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024” in its entirety as it affects that length of road specified in part (1) of the Schedule to this Notice; (d) suspend “The Surrey County Council New Road (A248) Chilworth 2023” in its entirety as it affects that length of road specified in part (2) of the Schedule to this Notice; (e) Suspend “The Surrey County Council New Road (A248) Chilworth 2024” in its entirety as it affects that length of road specified in part (2) of the Schedule to this Notice; (f) suspend “The Surrey County Council Brook Hill (D194) Albury 2023” in its entirety as it affects that length of road specified in part (3) of the Schedule to this Notice. This Order is required to facilitate North Downs Line Upgrade works for, or on behalf of Core Highways. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 2 nights between the hours of 11pm and 6.30am within 18-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 08 June 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in force 24 hours a day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists. 
No sole access is affected by these closures.

Walton Lane and Dorney Grove (D3875) Weybridge/Shepperton (Weybridge Running Event) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Order, pursuant to Sections 16A and 16B of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), the effect of which will be to prohibit all vehicles from entering or proceeding along (1) the entire length of Walton Lane (D3875) (Shepperton to Weybridge), including the Desborough Island arm; and (2) the bell mouth of Dorney Grove (D3875) Weybridge at its junction with Walton Lane, or any parts thereof. Such restriction shall also apply in relation to the riding, leading or driving of horses or any other animals. The Order will come into effect on 2 June 2024, for a period of one day and is required to facilitate the holding of an event on the highway, namely the Weybridge 10K, 5K, Half Marathon and Kids’ Race running event. The temporary closure specified above will not apply to such vehicles being used in connection with the said event, or to anything done on the direction or with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a traffic marshal, or any sign placed by Surrey Police. Emergency access will be maintained for the police, fire brigade and ambulance services; and for organisations responsible for dealing with the loss of supplies of gas, electricity, water or electronic communications, to premises in the area; and for the removal of any obstruction to traffic and also for essential carers. No exemption will apply for disabled persons’ vehicles. The prohibition will only be operative while the relevant traffic signs are displayed. The Council are satisfied that, in order to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road to which this Order relates, or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising, vehicular access to premises situated in such lengths of roads specified in this Notice, or accessible only therefrom, may be restricted, save for emergency access as indicated above. It is anticipated that the temporary closure will apply between 8am and 1pm. Access for pedestrians will be unaffected. The Council are also satisfied, in accordance with subsection (3) of Section 16A of the Act, that the event to which the order relates cannot be held otherwise than on a road. Alternative routes will be signed. Plough Lane (D276) Ewhurst Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to:- (a) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Plough Lane (D276) Ewhurst which extends from the eastern property boundary of Green Leas to the access road leading to Pavilion House; (b) suspend “Surrey County Council Plough Lane (D276) Cranleigh Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023” in its entirety. This Order is required to enable Thames Water to facilitate new water connection works, which is anticipated to be completed within 4 days, between 9am and 6pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 28 May 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in force 24 hours per day, and the suspension of the Order will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists. Alternative Route – The Green, The Mount, The Street, Ockley Road, North Breache Lane and Plough Lane.

Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to:- (a) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the lengths of roads specified and described in the Schedule to this Notice; (b) revoke part 4 of the Schedule to “Surrey County Council Various in Waverley Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.1) 2024” in its entirety. This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate carriageway surfacing works and/or major maintenance works, which is anticipated to be completed between 8pm and 6am, as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 27 May 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access for emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained when safe to do so and if necessary via the signed diversion route. In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period.

Diversion for Portsmouth Rd/Guildford Road: Southbound traffic – A3 Portsmouth Road, A3 Hindhead Tunnel Road, A333 Portsmouth Road, A287 Tilford Road, A287 Churt Road, A287 Frensham Road, A287 Longbridge, A287 Downing Street, A287 The Borough, D5336 Bear Lane, B228 Woolmead, B3228 East Street, B3228 Guildford Road, A31 Shepherd & Flock Roundabout, A31 Runfold Diversion/Hogs Back, A31 Farnham Road, A322 Bridge Street, A322 Onslow Street, A3100 Portsmouth Road/Old Portsmouth Road, A3100 Guildford Road, A3100 Meadrow, A3100 Flambard Way, A3100 Ockford Road and A3100 Portsmouth Road; Northbound traffic – A3 Guildford- Godalming ByPass, A25 Dennis Roundabout, A25 Midleton Road, A25 Woodbridge Road, A322 Woodbridge Road, A322 Onslow Street, A3100 Park Street, A3100 Portsmouth Road, A3100 Meadrow, A3100 Bridge Road, A3100 Flambard Way, A3100 Ockford Road and A3100 Portsmouth Road; Lower Manor Road – Upper Manor Road/A3100; Lower Moushill Lane – no diversion possible goes into private road, access will be maintained when safe to do so. Cherry Tree Road – A286 Church Road, follow main diversion. Old Elstead Road – no diversion possible, access maintained when safe to do so.

1. that length of A283 Portsmouth Road, Milford which extends from its junction with Leehurst to its junction with Badgers Cross; 2. that length of A283 Cherry Tree Road, Milford, which comprises the filter lanes and the main junction with A283 Portsmouth Road to its junction with Cherry Tree Road Service Road; 3. that length of D676 Lower Manor Road, Milford which extends from its junction with A283 Portsmouth Road to its junction with Upper Manor Road; 4. the entire lengths of the northern and southern arm of D149 Lower Moushill Lane, Milford, at its junction with A283 Portsmouth Road to a point where the northern and southern arm joins situated at or adjacent to Manor Lodge; 5. that length of D665 Old Elstead Road, Milford which extends from its junction with A283 Guildford Road to its junction with Manor Lea Road; 6. that length of A283 Guildford Road, Milford which extends from its junction with A283 Portsmouth Road to its junction with Reris Grange Close.

Almners Road (D3005) Chertsey Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Almners Road (D3005) Chertsey. Alternative Route: Lyne Lane and Lyne Crossing Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate water utility works for, or on behalf of Affinity Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 12 days, between the hours of 8am and 6pm within 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 03 June 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. 
Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times, as will residents, via road plates if necessary. All other traffic, including the emergency services will be required to use the signed diversion route.
