U9506 WEARDALE AVENUE BLYTH
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U9506 Weardale Avenue Blyth from its junction with Tynedale Drive heading eastwards for a distance of 160 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 1st June 2024 until the 1st December 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 24th June 2024 until the 27th June 2024 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 1st December 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via Tynedale Drive, Eskdale Avenue and vice versa .

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to carryout carriageway resurfacing. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
