NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. This is in accordance with section 15(8) of said Act and Regulation 7 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Procedure Regulations 1992 in that the following restrictions will continue to be in force on that section of the Blyth Valley Public footpath no. 151 from a point on the B1505 road (Horton Road) 55 metres north-west of St Marys Church in a north-easterly direction for a distance of 430 metres to a point on Byway No 182 (U9709 road) 380 metres north-east of St Marys Church in the County of Northumberland, because of likelihood of danger of the public.
Temporary Footpath Closure:
A temporary footpath closure will be in force on that section of the Blyth Valley Public footpath no. 151 from a point on the B1505 road (Horton Road) 55 metres north-west of St Marys Church in a north-easterly direction for a distance of 430 metres to a point on Byway No 182 (U9709 road) 380 metres north-east of St Marys Church in the County of Northumberland (“the Footpath”).
There is no alternative route for pedestrian traffic.

These restrictions have been requested by Northumberland County Council to enable works to alleviate localised flooding.
This Order came into force on 3rd May 2024 and will remain in force until 3rd November 2024.
