LONDON BOROUGH OF WALTHAM FOREST
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) THE WALTHAM FOREST (THAMES WATER SERVICE DISCONNECTION) (GROVE ROAD E17) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 1) ORDER 2024
The Council of the London Borough of Waltham Forest (the Council) HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that on 9th May 2024 it made an Order to allow for the disconnection of services, by Thames Water, in a safe and efficient manner in Grove Road E17.
The general effect of the Order will be, only at such times and to such extent as regulatory signs are displayed, to prohibit vehicles (except works vehicles) from entering, proceeding, waiting or loading for any purpose, at any time, in Grove Road E17 ? between its junction with Eden Road / Fraser Road and the common boundary of Nos. 107/109 The Order will come into operation on 20th May 2024 for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works are completed whichever is the sooner.
NOTE: The works are expected to be completed within 5 days however the Order has been extended to allow for any contingencies.

THE WALTHAM FOREST (THAMES WATER SITE SURVEY) (E17 ROADS) (TEMPORARY MEASURES) (NO. 1) ORDER 2024
The Council of the London Borough of Waltham Forest (the Council) HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that it intends on making an Order to facilitate a safe and efficient site investigation in association with utility works by Thames Water in Forest Road E17 The general effect of the Order would be, only at such times and to such extent as regulatory signs are displayed, to prohibit vehicles, for any purpose, at any time, from, entering, proceeding, waiting or oading in Woodstock Road E17 and Winsbeach E17?between their respective junctions with Forest Road and a point 5 metres from the said junction.
The Order would come into operation on 25th May 2024 and would be valid for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner. NOTE: The works are expected to be completed within 14 days however the Order has been extended to allow for any contingencies.
THE WALTHAM FOREST (THAMES WATER SEWER MAINTENANCE) (COLCHESTER ROAD E10 AND NELSON ROAD E4) (TEMPORARY MEASURES) (NO. 1) ORDER 2024
The Council of the London Borough of Waltham Forest (the Council) HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that it intends on making an Order to allow for sewer maintenance works by Thames Water to be carried out in a safe and efficient manner in various roads within the said borough The general effect of the Order would be, only at such times and to such extent as regulatory signs are displayed, to prohibit vehicles from entering, proceeding, waiting or loading for any purpose, at any time, in?
i) Colchester Road E10 (CHR) - betweenitsjunction with High Road Leyton and the western boundary of No. 1a; and
ii) Nelson Road E4 - between its junction with Chingford Road (CFR) and the west facing wall of No. 20 Rowden Park Gardens (RPG), CFR.
Whilst the Order is in operation and only at such times and to such extent as regulatory signs are displayed, no person shall cause or permit vehicles to wait or load in
i ) High Road Leyton E10 ? between the common boundaries of Nos. 714/716 and Nos. 718/1a (CHR); and
Nos 21/22 RPG
ii) Chingford Road E4 - between the common boundaries of Nos. 17/18 RPG and of Nos. 21/22 RPG.
The Order would come into operation on 28th May 2024 and would be valid for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner.
NOTE: The works willnot occur simultaneously at the above-mentioned locations. The works at each site are expected to be completed within 1 day however the Order has been extended to allow for any contingencies. (Ref: TT25(24))
THE WALTHAM FOREST (THAMES WATER EQUIPMENT ACCESS) (FULBOURNE ROAD E17) (TEMPORARY MEASURES) (NO. 1) ORDER 2024
The Council of the London Borough of Waltham Forest HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that it intends on making an Order to allow safe access of plant equipment for structural repair works of Thames Water facilities in Fulbourne Road E17.
The general effect of the Order would be, only at such times and to such extent as regulatory signs are displayed, to prohibit vehicles (except work vehicles) for any purpose, at "any time", from -
i) entering, proceeding, waiting or loading in Fulbourne Road E17
(FBR) ii) between its junction with Victoria Road and the northern
boundary of No. 75 (Role2play).
ii) waiting or loading in Victoria Road E17 (both sides) - between its junction with FBR and the flank wall of No. 70. Designated controlled parking space situated in any road or part of road affected by the measures set out in the paragraph above will be suspended.
The Order would come into operation on 28th May 2024 and would be valid for a maximum period of 6 months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner.
NOTE: The works are expected to be completed within 4 days, however, the Order has been extended to allow for any contingencies
THE WALTHAM FOREST (THREE-UK TELECOM APPARATUS) (LEYTON GREEN ROAD E10) (TEMPORARY MEASURES) (NO. 1) ORDER 2024
The Council of the London Borough of Waltham Forest HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that it intends on making an Order to allow for the nstallation of telecommunication apparatus in a safe and efficient manner in Leyton Green Road E10 by Hutchinson-3G (Three-UK) The general effect of the Order will be, only at such times and to such extent as regulatory signs are displayed, to prohibit vehicles (except work vehicles) from entering, proceeding, waiting or loading for any purpose, at any time in Leyton Green Road E10 - between its junctions with Lea Bridge Road (A104) and with Knotts Green Road.
The Order will come into operation on 28th May 2024 for a maximum period of 6 months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner.
NOTE: The wokrs are expected to be completed within 4 days, however, the Order has been extended to allow for any contingencies.
THE WALTHAM FOREST (THAMES WATER MAINS CONNECTION) (E17 REGION) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITIONS) (NO. 1) ORDER 2024
The Council of the London Borough of Waltham Forest HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that it intends on making an Order to enable works associated with Thames Water mains connections to be carried out n a safe and efficient manner in various roads in the E17 region of the borough.
The general effect of the Order would be, only at such times and to such extent as regulatory signs are displayed, to prohibit vehicles (except works vehicles) from entering, proceeding, waiting or loading for any purpose, at any time, in the roads mentioned in the Schedule to this Notice.
Whilst works are being carried out and only at such times and to such extent as regulatory signs are displayed no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load for any purpose, at any time, within 15 metres of the junction of any road adjoining the roads mentioned in the Schedule to this Notice. Whilst the order is in operation and only at such times and to such extent as regulatory signs are displayed any one-way working or no-entry prohibitions in any roads or parts of roads mentioned in the Schedule of this Notice, or in any roads or parts of roads adjoining the roads or parts of roads mentioned in the Schedule of this Notice would be temporarily suspended
The Order would come into operation on 3rd June 2024 and would be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner (this applies to all roads mentioned in the Schedule and allows for unforeseen constraints which may abort works until a future time). NOTE: These works would not be carried out simultaneously in all roads but in a sequence as directed by the Council. (Ref: TT28(24))

Avon Road, Beacontree Avenue, Belle Vue Road, Bisterne Avenue, Carnanton Road, Castleton Road, Cobham Road, Dean Gardens Fernhill Court, Forest Rise, Forest Road, Fyfield Road, Grantock Road Greenway Avenue, Hale End Road, Hempstead Road, Hillcrest Road Hillside Gardens, Hylands Road, Lamorna Close, Macdonald Road Nagle Close, Pentire Road, Radbourne Crescent, Railway Terrace, Thorpe Hall Road, Trevose Road, Tristram Close, Ulverston Road, Upper Walthamstow Road, Winsbeach, and Woodstock Road.
THE WALTHAM FOREST (TRAFFIC CALMING WORKS) (E17 ROADS) (TEMPORARY MEASURES) (NO. 1) ORDER 2024
The Council of the London Borough of Waltham Forest HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that it intends on making an Order to allow for traffic calming works to be carried out in a safe and efficient manner in various E17 roads within the said borough. The general effect of the Order would be, only at such times and to such extent as regulatory signs are displayed or, where applicable, covered ? to prohibit vehicles from entering, proceeding, waiting or oading for any purpose "at any time" in:
i) Station Road E17 (SR) ? between its junction with St James Street and the northern boundary of No. 26 SR;
ii) Clacton Road E17 and Lynmouth Road E17 ? between their respective junctions with SR and a point 20 metres from the said junction;
iii) Frederic Road E17 and Leucha Road E17 ? between their respective junctions with St James Street and a point 20 metres from the said junction; and
v) Grange Road E17 - the whole north to south and east to west arms.
Whilst the notice is in operation and only at such times and to such extent as regulatory signs are displayed, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load for any purpose, at any time, in St James Street E17 - between the common boundary of Nos 8/10 St James Street and its junction with Station Road. Vehicular access to properties affected by these temporary measures will be maintained wherever possible, subject to the extent and operation of the closures.
Whilst works are being carried out in any roads mentioned in paragraph 2 above, one-way workings/no entry prohibitions for those roads, or in any road adjoining those roads mentioned in paragraph 2 will be suspended.
The Order would come into operation from 23rd May 2024 and would be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner.
NOTE: These works would not be carried out simultaneously in all roads mentioned in this notice but in a sequence as directed by the Council. (Ref: TT29(24))
Vehicles waiting or loading in disregard of these aforementioned Orders would be removed.
The prohibitions mentioned in all notices above would not apply in relation to any vehicle being used:
(a)in connection with the said works; or (b)for ambulance, fire brigade or police purposes (if the works allow)
Signage will be placed in advance of any works in the roads mentioned in the aforementioned notices which would give more specific details on the exact dates of the prohibitions, effects of any temporary traffic management and diversion routes as necessary.
