(Frankland Grove, Chapeltown, Leeds)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (Road closure required for Northern Power Grid works) Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Frankland Grove, Leeds in the Chapel Allerton Ward between its junctions with Frankland Place and Hamilton Place. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Frankland Place, Louis Street, Hamilton Place, Francis Street. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 20th May 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Road closure for gas mains replacement Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Victoria Street, Allerton Bywater, Leeds in the Kippax & Methley Ward between its junctions with Victoria Street and Main Street. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Victoria Street, Station Road, Main Street and vice versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Tuesday 28th May 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 May 2024 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Leeds City Council made the Leeds City Counci l (Various Roads In The Temple Newsam Area) (Temporary Road Closures And Prohibitions Of Waiting) Order 2024 under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public due an increased vehicular and pedestrian traffic in connection with the holding of an event in the Park at Temple Newsam. The effect of Order is as follows:
1. Prohibition of Vehicles – Elm Walk full length.
2. Prohibition of Vehicles except for Access to adjoining properties
a Colton Road – from its junction with The Elm Walk to its
junction with Gibson Drive;
b Gibson Drive (full length); c Pickard Court (full length); d Barton Court (full length); e Lennox Gardens (full length); f Stewart Close (full length); g Manor Garth (full length); h Pendil Close (full length); i Maltby Court (full length); j Manor Croft (full length);
k Temple Newsam Road – from its junction with New Temple gate in a southerly direction to its termination.
l Pontefract Lane – from its junction with Junction 45 of the
M1 in a generally easterly direction to its termination; m Newsam Green Road (full length).
3. No Waiting at Any Time
a. Temple Newsam Road from the Junction of Selby Road for its entire length
b. Irwin Approach entire length
c. Colton Road for a distance of 350m from its junction with Selby Road.
4. The prohibitions at numbers 1,2 and 3 above shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the ‘Race for Life’ event. Access for emergency services and pedestrians will be maintained to all premises situated or adjacent to any road or part of the roads to which the prohibitions apply including other premises accessible for pedestrians from and only such road.
5. The above closures and prohibition of waiting will be in effect between 07.00 hours and 16:00 hours Saturday 11th May 2024 and between 07:00 hours and 14:30 hours Sunday

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (Replacement of gas pipes) Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along School Lane, Collingham, Leeds in the Harewood Ward between its junctions with Hollybush Green, Jewitt Lane. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Leeds Road, Main Street, Wetherby Road, Jewitt Lane and Vice Versa. Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 13th May 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Road closure required for Northern Gas Network works Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Dominion Avenue, Gledhow, Leeds in the Chapel Allerton Ward between its junctions with Gledhow Lane and Alberta Avenue.
A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Dominion Avenue, King George Avenue, Gledhow Lane and vice versa. Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 3rd June 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Layby Closure required in relations to telecom works Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Ring Road Farsley Layby, Farsley, Leeds, Leeds in the Calverley & Farsley Ward works taking place 75m southwest from the junction of Calverley Lane. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of the likelihood of danger to the public, (holding of events at Temple Newsam Park), Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order the effect of which will be to introduce the following traffic restrictions during the event dates and times listed in Schedule 3 below.
1. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to use The Elm Walk; during any of the event dates and time listed in Schedule 3 below.
2. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle (other than a vehicle requiring access to property on or adjacent to the road) to use the roads set out in Schedule 1, during any of the event dates and times listed in Schedule 3.
3. No person shall wait on any length of road specified in Schedule 2, during any of the event dates and times listed in Schedule 3 below PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the relevant event. Access for emergency services and pedestrians will be maintained to all premises situated or adjacent to any road or part of road to which restrictions apply including other premises accessible for pedestrians from and only such road.

The Council of the City of Leeds has made the following Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – the LEEDS CITY COUNCIL (UPPER TOWN STREET, BRAMLEY) (TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2024. The Order closes to pedestrians the length of Footpath specified in the Schedule below. The diversion route is available via Upper Town Street, Hough Lane and Prospect View, and vice versa. The closure is necessary due to the danger to the public from a collapsed wall blocking the footpath.
The Order comes into operation on 10 May 2024 and will continue in effect until 14 June 2024 (subject to extension). Copies of the Order and plan are available on request by e-mailing legal.development@leeds.gov.uk. Please quote reference TC10077.
