ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 16A
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2024
ST CUTHBERTS STREET, BEDFORD 2024 – 024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bedford Borough Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, from proceeding along that
length of St Cuthberts Street, Bedford from St Peters Street to Lurke Street Bedford. This temporary road closure is required to facilitate a street party and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
This temporary road closure is expected to be in operation between 11:00 to 19:00 hours 26th May 2024 The alternative routes available for vehicles affected by the proposed Order are:- St Peters Street, High Street,
Mill Street and for the opposite direction Castle Road, Bushmead Avenue, Goldington Road, St Peters Street.
