THE MIDLOTHIAN COUNCIL
(PENTLAND ROAD, OLD PENTLAND, LOANHEAD) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024 - TTRO/R 5.4.234
Notice is hereby given that Midlothian Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which is that for a temporary period to facilitate sewer connection work for the new Aldi store, Pentland Road from its junction with Costkea Way to A701 will be closed to North bound traffic. The Order which has a maximum duration of 18 months has effect from 20 May 2024. The work is expected take about 8 weeks to complete. Pedestrian access will be maintained. Alternative routes for general vehicular traffic will be clearly sign posted.
