Order made: To close that part of U50327 Colin Road from its junction with U50328 Leslie Avenue to its junction with U50329 Dorothy Avenue.
Reason: Carriageway Resurfacing by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U50327 Colin Road, A449 Ombersley Road, U50336 Beckett Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day between 13 May 2024 and 30 May 2024.
(C2065 Lulsley to Knightwick Road, Alfrick) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of C2065 Lulsley to Knightwick Road from its junction with C2279 Hill Road for a distance of 200 metres in a Southerly direction.
Reason: Overhead works by Openreach.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Order made: To close that part of U50372 Grange Avenue from its junction with U50366 Bevere Close to its junction with A449 Ombersley Road.
Reason: Carriageway Resurfacing by WCC.

(B4205 Wylds Lane, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of B4205 Wyld's Lane from its junction with U52326 Richmond Hill for a distance of 57 metres in an easterly direction.
Reason: Removal of sunken blocks by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Order made: To close that part of U42405 Church Lane from its junction with C2076 Plough Road to its junction with U42405 Eatons Lane.
Reason: Utility works by Openreach.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Proposed Order: To close that part of U52115 Foxwell Street from its junction with U52111 Cannon Street to its junction with U52112 Livingstone Street.
Reason: To renew BT pole by HSC Worcester Ltd.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Proposed Order: To close that part of U64402 Camp Lane from its junction with C2229 Shelsley Beauchamp to its junction with B4203 Stanford Road.
Reason: Remedial works to reinstate edge of carriageway by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: B4203 Stanford Road, A443 Worcesterof access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

(U64008 Walton Lane, Grimley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U64008 Walton Lane from its junction with A443 Main Road to its junction with C2256 Sinton Green.
Reason: Safe access for pole works by Openreach.

Proposed Order: To close that part of A449 Ombersley Road from its junction with U50319 Northwick Road to its junction with A38 Droitwich Road.
Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Diversion Anticlockwise: A38 Droitwich Road, A4536 Hurst Lane, A4536 Blackpole Road, A449 Worcester Northern Link, A449 Ombersley Road. Diversion Clockwise: A449 Ombersley Road, A449 Worcester Northern Link, A4536 Hurst Lane, A38 Droitwich Road.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 night (17:00-06:00) between 2 June 2024 and 10 June 2024 (Sunday 2 June 20024 or Sunday 9 June).
(C2203 Church Lane, Earl's Croome) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of C2203 Church Lane from its junction with A4104 Baughton to its junction with U60411 Quay Lane.
Reason: Drainage Work/Flood Alleviation by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2203 Quay Lane, C2105 Dunstall, A4104 Baughton Hill, A4104 Baughton and vice versa.

Order made: To close that part of C2220 Old Road South from its junction with U60014 Meadow Close to its junction with U60013 Pixham Ferry Lane.
Reason: Carriageway construction remedial work by M V Kelly Ltd.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

(B4205 Shaw Street (No Left Turn) Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of B4205 Shaw Street from its junction with A38 The Foregate to its junction with U53100 Farrier Street and there will be No Left Turn into Foregate Street from Shaw Street for HGVs and buses.
Reason: Safe working for scaffold erection by Alan Wilks Scaffolding Limited.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Reason: Bridgework maintenance by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Proposed Order: To close that part of B4206 Henwick Road from its junction with U54185 Ingles Drive to its junction with U54171 Rectory Gardens.
Reason: Railway maintenance (level crossing) by Network Rail.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Diversion anticlockwise: B4206 Henwick Road, A44 Bull Ring, A44 Tybridge, A443 Hylton Road, B4206 Henwick Road. Diversion Clockwise: B4206 Henwick Road, A443 Hylton Road, A44 Hylton Road, A44 New Road, A44 Bull Ring, B4206 Henwick Road.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 night (23:00-17:00). Commencing: 1 June 2024.
(U54268 Swinton Lane, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of Closure 1: U54268 Swinton Lane from its junction with B4485 Bransford Road for a distance of 50 metres in a southerly direction. Closure 2: U54268 Swinton Lane from its junction with U54279 Catherine Road to its junction with U54268 Hanbury Park Road.
Reason: Replacement gas main by Cadent Gas.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Closure 1 diversion: B4485 Bransford Road, B4206 Malvern Road, U54268 Hanbury Park Road and vice versa. Closure 2 diversion: U54279 Catherine Road, U54278 Bloomfield Road, U54268 Hanbury Park Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 18 days (24 hrs). Commencing: 3 June 2024.
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (District of Wychavon - Non-Urban Areas) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2004 (Variation) Order 2024 [Prohibition of Waiting on Plough Road and Hawthorn Rise, Tibberton and Worcestershire County Council (Plough Road, Tibberton) (No Stopping on School Keep Clear Markings) Order 2024
On 25 April 2024 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following sides and lengths of road in Tibberton: -
Plough Road (Southeast side): From a point 13 metres southwest of its junction with Evelench Lane for a distance of 50 metres; then from a point 140 metres southwest of the junction for a distance of 34 metres, all in a south westerly direction.
(Northwest side): From a point 68 metres southwest of the centrepoint of its junction with Evelench Lane to a point 8 metres southwest of its junction with Hawthorn Rise in a south westerly direction.
Hawthorn Rise (Both sides): From its junction with Plough Road for a distance of 8 metres in a north westerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles. Worcestershire County Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit stopping on school keep clear markings at any time as follows: Plough Road: (Northwest side): From a point 9 metres southwest of the centrepoint of its junction with Evelench Lane for 58 metres in a south westerly direction. The Order will come into operation on 16 May 2024. The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
