Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

(U21050 Mercia Close/U21049 Francis Road, Bromsgrove) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of: Closure 1: U21050 Mercia Close from its junction with U21048 Edwin Crescent for a distance of 120 metres in a westerly direction. Closure 2: U41049 Francis Road from its junction with U21050 Mercia Close to its junction with U21044 Humphrey Avenue.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U21044 Humphrey Avenue, U21046 Salwarpe Road, U21048 Edwin Crescent and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 10 May 2024 and 23 May 2024.

(U21040/U21041 Grafton Crescent, Bromsgrove) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of Closure 1: U21040 Grafton Crescent - from its junction with U21037 Bishops Hall Crescent to its junction with U21031 Lyttleton Avenue. Closure 2: U21041 Grafton Crescent - from its junction with U21040 Grafton Crescent to its junction with U21031 Lyttleton Avenue.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U21037 Bishops Hall Crescent, U21031 Lyttleton Avenue and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 14 May 2024 and 27 May 2024.

(C2152 Lineholt Lane, Uphampton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of C2152 Lineholt Lane from its junction with U40221 Uphampton Lane to its junction with U40220 Woodhall Lane.

Reason: BT Poletesting by Openreach.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2152 Uphampton to Holt Road, C2142 Boreley Lane, C2142 Blacksmiths Bank, C2152 Lineholt Lane and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 13 May 2024.

(C2045 Holyoakes Lane, Bentley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of C2045 Holyoakes Lane from its junction with C2060 Cur Lane to its junction with U22208 Gypsy Lane.

Reason: Drainage/flood alleviation work by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2045 Holyoakes Lane (part), B4184 Alcester Road, B4096 Hewell Lane, B4184 Birchfield Road, C2137 Birchfield Road, C2060 Foxlydiate Lane, C2060 Cur Lane and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days (24 hrs). Commencing: 13 May 2024.

(C2063 Frankley Green Lane, Frankley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2063 Frankley Green Lane from its junction with C2039 Frankley Hill Lane to its junction with U20651 Yew Tree Lane.

Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2039 Frankley Hill Lane, C2285 Boleyn Road into Birmingham, C2057 Gannow Green Lane, C2063 Newtown Lane and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:

2 days between 3 June 2024 and 14 June 2024.

(C2280 Wildmoor Lane, Bournheath) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2280 Wildmoor Lane from its junction with U21551 Cobnall Road to its junction with U20203 Mill Lane.

Reason: Remedial water works by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2280 Wildmore Lane, A491 Sandy Lane, B4091 Stourbridge Road, B4185 Meadow Road, C2280 Wildmore Lane and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 4 June 2024.

(U22401 Station Road, Blackwell) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U22401 Station Road from its junction with Cornmill Gardens (NSG ref 04702787) to its junction with Ferndale Gate (NSG ref 04702907).

Reason: New customer connection by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U22401 Station Road, C2157 Greenhill, B4096 Alcester Road, C2173 Blackwell Road, U22401 Agmore Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (24hrs). Commencing: 3 June 2024.

(C2063 Newtown Lane, Romsley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2063 Newtown Lane from its junction with U20651 Yew Tree Lane to its junction with C2057 Old House Lane.

Reason: Carriageway Patching by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2063 Oxwood Lane, C2063 Frankley Green, C2063 Frankley Green Lane, C2039 Frankley Hill Lane, C2285 Boleyn Road, C2057 Gannow Green Lane, and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:

2 days between 3 June 2024 and 14 June 2024. Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (Bromsgrove District) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2013 (Variation) Order 2024 [Experimental Prohibition of Waiting on Austin Road, Bromsgrove]

On 25 April 2024 Worcestershire County Council made an Experimental Order which will impose prohibition waiting at any time on the following lengths and side of road in Bromsgrove: -

Austin Road - Bromsgrove - East Side From a point 27m north of its junction with Miller Close for a distance of 12m in a northerly direction.

From a point 27m north of its junction with Miller Close for a distance of 12m in a northerly direction.

Austin Road - Bromsgrove - West Side From a point 12m north of its junction with Miller Close for a distance of 40m in a northerly direction. The Experimental Order will come into operation on 16 May 2024 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months.

The Experimental Order has been made to allow an assessment of the effect of the Order before a decision is taken to make it permanent. If you wish to object/make representations about the Order being made permanent, you must do so in writing to me at County Hall or email roadtrafficregs@worcestershire.gov.uk; by 16 November 2024 specifying the grounds on which they are made.

(Footpath OD-513 in Oddingley Parish) (Temporary Closure Order) 2024

Order made: To close Footpath OD-513 in Oddingley Parish for its entire length.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: South on Oddingley parish footpath OD-517, east on OD-519, then Huddington parish HD-501 to join Trench Lane (C2077), then north westerly across the level crossing to join OD-512 and vice versa. The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months commencing on 19 April 2024.
