Riggs Lane - Temporary Road Closure To Facilitate Tree Cutting

What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE RIGGS LANE, MARSTON MONTGOMERY

WHEN: 14 May 2024 between (09:30 to 15:30)
WHERE: Riggs Lane, Marston Montgomery between junction with Somersal Lane and Highfield House.
REASON: To facilitate tree cutting.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Riggs Lane, Somersal Lane, Bowling Alley Lane, Vernon Oaks Lane, Hollyhurst Lane and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
