Public Notices for Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders
The following public notices shall be served on Thursday 9th May 2024:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council intends, to make the following traffic regulation Orders under Section 14(1), 14(4) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE 1:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (NORTH ROW, CENTRAL MILTON KEYNES) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following part of road North Row, Central Milton Keynes – At its junction with North Tenth Street. Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via North Row and North tenth Street (and vice versa). in order to allow National Grid to carryout cable installation to the NHS Clinic Lloyds Court 20th May 2024 (24 Hours).
PUBLIC NOTICE 2:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (FOOTPATH 002, MOULSOE) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following part of footpath 002, Moulsoe – from its junction with A509 London Road to its junction with Newport Road. Whilst the above length of Footpath is closed there will be no alternative route. in the interest of safety to the public whilst development works are being carried out. from 20th May 2024 – 20th November 2024 (24 Hours).
PUBLIC NOTICE 3:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (GRAFTON STREET AND SAXON STREET (PARTS), BLETCHLEY) (TAKE THAT CONCERT 2024) (TEMPORARY CLOSURES AND 40MPH SPEED RESTRICTION) ORDER 2024
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following part of roads.
To temporarily close the following length of road on 30th May 2024 (12.00pm – 11.59pm)
V7 Saxon Street, Bletchley – from its junction with Groveway to its junction with Bletcham Way
Whilst the above closure is in place the alternative route will be via Bletcham Way, Watling Street, Standing Way (and vice versa)
Grafton Street, Bletchley – From its junction with Redmoor Roundabout to its junction with Granby Roundabout
Whilst the above closure is in place the alternative route will be via Standing Way and Watling Street (and vice versa)
Whilst the above closure is in place there will be a 40mph speed restriction on the following roads
Groveway V6 to V8, Ashland – From its junction with Marlborough Street to its junction with Grafton Street
PUBLIC NOTICE 3:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (FULMER STREET AND CHAFFRON WAY (PARTS), MILTON KEYNES) (TEMPORARY 30 AND 50MPH SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2024
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Fulmer Street (from its junction with Furzton Roundabout for 450 metres in both directions) at a speed in excess of 50mph, whilst works to form a new bell mouth are undertaken, due to the likelihood of danger to the public. The speed limit will further reduce to 30mph approaching Furzton Roundabout whilst traffic lights are in place to land a communications pole.
The temporary speed restrictions will be in effect from 20th May until 24th May 2024 between 08:00am and 5:00pm and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 7th May 2024 made the following temporary traffic regulation Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE 5:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (BURNHAM DRIVE AND DANSTEED WAY, BRADWELL COMMON) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following part of road in order to enable Commhoist to carry out telecoms upgrade works and pole installation works.
Phase 1 – 14th May 2024 – 16th May 2024 (Between 9:30am and 4:30pm each day)
Burnham Drive (Slip Road), Bradwell Common – At its Junction with Dansteed Way.
4-way lights will be in placed on Dansteed Way, Burnham Drive and Stainton Drive to control traffic and maintain access into Burnham Drive.
Phase 2 – 28th May 2024 (Between 9:30am and 4:30pm)
Burnham Drive (Slip Road), Bradwell Common and Dansteed Way V6 to V7 – from its junction with Grafton Street to its junction with Saxon Street.
Whilst the above closure is in place the alternative route will be via Saxon Street, Portway and Grafton Street (and vice versa)
PUBLIC NOTICE 6:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (BRADBOURNE DRIVE (PART), TILBROOK) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following part of road Bradbourne Drive, Tilbrook – from outside Balzers Tool Shop for a distance of 25 metres in an easterly direction Whilst the above closure is in place the alternative route will be via Brickhill Street and Sherbourne Drive (and vice versa). to allow Redbull to install a new data duct 11th-12th May and 18th-19th May 2024:
PUBLIC NOTICE 7:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (DRAYTON ROAD (PART), BLETCHLEY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following part of road Drayton Road, Bletchley – from its junction with Giffard Road to its junction with Hunter Drive. Whilst the above closure is in place the alternative route will be via Lomond Drive and Stoke Road Drive (and vice versa). to allow MBNL to install a new pole for telecommunications equipment 13th May 2024 (9:30am – 3:00pm).
