Dronfield Road - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
DRONFIELD ROAD, ECKINGTON
WHEN: 13 May to 30 August 2024 (09:00 to 15:00 each day (Any 10 days within this period))
WHERE: Dronfield Road, Eckington between its jct. with the B6052 for a distance of 300m in a westerly direction.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway surface dressing works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B6056, Ford Ln, The Ford, Ridgeway Moor, B6388 High Ln / Quarry Hill, High St, Mosborough, Sheffield Rd, Mosborough to Eckington, B6052 Church St / Pinfold St / High St / West St and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
