Staffordshire County Council on 7/5/24 made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that imposed the following speeds.
30MPH – A519 Newcastle Rd and A519 Castle St (Eccleshall)
40MPH – A519 Newcastle Rd (Eccleshall) Meece Rd (Cold Meece) Yarnfield Ln (Yarnfield) Main St/Yarnfield Rd (Swynnerton) Cold Meece Rd (Cold Meece)/Swynnerton Rd (Eccleshall)
50MPH – Yarnfield Rd, (Swnnerton/Cold Meece)
Documents may be examined during office hours at 1 Staffordshire Pl, Tipping St, Stafford, ST16 2DH and during opening hours at Eccleshall Library, 20 High St, Eccleshall, Staffordshire, Stone Library, High St, Stone, Staffordshire and Clayton Library, Dartmouth Ave, Clayton, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire or at www.staffordshire.gov.uk/trafficregulationorders. Persons questioning the validity or provisions of the Order on the grounds that such powers are not conferred by the Act, or that any requirement or instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date the Order was made apply to the High Court. The Order will commence on 13/5/24.
(WINGHOUSE LANE, TITTENSOR) (40MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2024
Staffordshire County Council on 7/5/24 made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that imposed a 40mph speed limit on Winghouse Ln, Tittensor. Documents may be examined during office hours at 1 Staffordshire Pl, Tipping St, Stafford, ST16 2DH and during opening hours at Stone Library, High St, Stone, Staffordshire or at www.staffordshire.gov.uk/trafficregulationorders. Persons questioning the validity or provisions of the Order on the grounds that such powers are not conferred by the Act, or that any requirement or instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date the Order was made apply to the High Court. The Order will commence on 11/5/24.
(WINGHOUSE LANE, TITTENSOR) (REVOCATION OF 40 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2024
Staffordshire County Council on 7/5/24 made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that revoked the 40mph speed limit on Winghouse Ln, Tittensor which will then assume restricted road status with a 30mph speed limit. This Order will revoke in so far as it relates to this order Staffordshire County Council (Restricted Roads) (Winghouse Ln, Tittensor) Order 2005. Documents may be examined during office hours at 1 Staffordshire Pl, Tipping St, Stafford, ST16 2DH and during opening hours at Stone Library, High St, Stone, Staffordshire or at www.staffordshire.gov.uk/trafficregulationorders. Persons questioning the validity or provisions of the Order on the grounds that such powers are not conferred by the Act, or that any requirement or instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date the Order was made apply to the High Court. The Order will commence on 11/5/24.
A34 STONE ROAD, YARLET (STAFFORD) 50 MPH SPEED LIMIT ORDER 2024
Staffordshire County Council on 7/5/24 made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that imposed a 50mph speed limit on A34 Stone Rd, Yarlet (Stafford). Documents may be examined during office hours at
1 Staffordshire Pl, Tipping St, Stafford, ST16 2DH and during opening hours at Holmcroft Library, Holmcroft Rd, Stafford, Staffordshire or at www.staffordshire.gov.uk/trafficregulationorders. Persons questioning the validity or provisions of the Order on the grounds that such powers are not conferred by the Act, or that any requirement or instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date the Order was made apply to the High Court. The Order will commence on 10/5/24.
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 7/5/24 made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit traffic from proceeding along:
Cash Ln, Offley Marsh. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=138425016. The Order will come into operation on 13/5/24 and the said closure will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the flooding has receded, whichever is the earlier.
Queensville Ave, Stafford. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=137770766. The Order will come into operation on 13/5/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 15/5/24. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the blockage clearing works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Main Rd, Colwich. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=137953147. The Order will come into operation on 12/5/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 13/5/24. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the structural examination works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than 7 days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:
Blurtons Ln, Eccleshall. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=136720293. The Order will come into operation on 27/5/24. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the flooding has receded, whichever is the earlier.
Grindley Ln, Grindley. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=137987094. The Order will come into operation on 23/5/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole testing and tree cutting works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Tittensor Rd, Barlaston. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=137717788. The Order will come into operation on 26/5/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day.
The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the defect remedial works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES
A51 Stone Bypass, Stone. Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along A51 Stone Bypass, Stone. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=138006446. The Order will come into operation on 23/5/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 27/5/24. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the carriageway surface dressing, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
