What is happening?
M20 MOTORWAY – JUNCTIONS 8 TO 9 TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS
Notice is hereby given that National Highways Limited intends to vary The M20 Motorway (Junctions 7 to 10A) (Temporary Restriction and Prohibition of Traffic) (No. 2) Order 2023 (a), originally made on 16th August 2023.
The effect of the variation would be amend the lengths of defined hard shoulder to allow running on them and subject to a 50mph speed restriction to cover everywhere between Junctions 8 (A20) and 9 (A20) in both directions.
Please visit National Highways website for further details on when phases of this would be in operation. There are phases currently scheduled for June and
September, with contingency for later in the year. The variation would come into force on 31st May 2024.
No diversions apply.
