Wokingham Road, Temporary Prohibition Of Driving Due To Maintenance Works
What is happening?
BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL (B3408 WOKINGHAM ROAD, BRACKNELL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in a easterly direction into:
a) B3408 Wokingham Road, Bracknell from Rounds Hill Roundabout to Stoney Road.
The alternative route required for vehicles affected by section (a) of this Order will be via Moordale Avenue, B3018 Binfield, B3408 Wokingham Road.
The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while BT carry out maintenance works to their network.
The proposed Order will come into operation on the 19th May 2024, and its maximum duration will be 6 months. However, it is currently planned that the road closure will remain in place on the 19th May 2024 between 09:30 -15:00 only. This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
