The Stirling - Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic To Ensure Public Safety During Surface Treatment Works
What is happening?
PUBLIC NOTICES
The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (Back O’Hill Road, Cowane Street, Goosecroft Road, Lower Bridge Street, Seaforth Place, Union Street and Wallace Street, Stirling) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 3-5-24.
This Order will close:
Phase 1
Goosecroft Road From its junction with Seaforth Place to its junction with Wallace Street, including the signalised junction at Seaforth Place.
Seaforth Place From its junction with Goosecroft Road to its junction with Shore Road, this junction will remain open during the day to allow vehicles to exit left from Riverside. The works will be undertaken under an evening closure over two evenings as will be shown by signs on site. Wallace Street From its junction with Goosecroft Road to its junction with Park Lane, access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes: Goosecroft Road via - Cowane Street, Lower Bridge Street, Union Street, Customs Roundabout, Burghmuir Road and vice versa
Seaforth Place - via Forthside Way, A91, Kerse Road, Craigs Roundabout, Goosecroft Road and vice versa
Phase 2
Cowane Street From its junction with Wallace Street to its junction with Upper Bridge Street.
Alternative Route: via , Lower Bridge Street, Union Street, Customs Roundabout, Burghmuir Road, Goosecroft Road and vice versa
Phase 3
Back O’Hill Road From the point where it meets Lower Bridge Street to its junction with Drip Road.
Lower Bridge Street From the point where it meets Cowane Street to the point where it meets Back O’Hill Road.
Union Street From its junction with Lower Bridge Street to its junction with Bruce Street
Alternative Route: via Drip Road, Customs Roundabout, Burghmuir Road, Craigs Roundabout, Goosecroft Road and vice versa
Traffic exiting Upper Bridge Street - via Upper Bridge Street, Queen Street, Goosecroft Road, Thistle Road, Burghmuir Road, Customs Roundabout
Work will be carried out in phases from 3-6-24 until 21-6-24 to facilitate resurfacing works, the signs on street will show the extent of the closure / diversion in place.
Emergency service access will be maintained

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (Park Terrace, Stirling) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 3-5-24.
This Order will close:
Park Terrace From its junction with Gladstone Place to its junction with King’s Park Road from 0800 hours until 1800 hours on 29-5-24 to facilitate public utility works.
Emergency service access will be maintained
Alternative Routes: via King’s Park Road and vice versa

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (Underpass at Craigs Roundabout, Stirling) (Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians) Order 2024 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 3-5-24.
This Order will close the following footways:
Craigs Roundabout For its entire length from 0930 hours until Underpass 1500 hours from 27-5-24 until 3-6-24 to ensure public safety during surface treatment works.
Alternative Routes: via Burghmuir Road east side footway, Burghmuir Road west side footway, Wellgreen south side footway, Wellgreen north side footway and vice versa

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (Underpass at Customs Roundabout, Stirling) (Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians) Order 2024 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 3-5-24.
This Order will close the following footways: Customs Roundabout For its entire length from 0930 hours Underpass until 1500 hours from 3-6-24 until 10-6-24 to ensure public safety during surface treatment works.
Alternative Routes: via footpath from Customs Roundabout underpass to footpath leading to subway from Lower Bridge Street to Laurencecroft Road, Drip Road, Union Street, Bruce Street, Douglas Street, Wallace Street, Goosecroft Road, Seaforth Place, Shore Road, Forth Street, Lovers Walk and vice versa
