New Lane, Temporary Road Closure Due To Railway Renewal Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - NEW LANE, HAVANT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of New Lane between its junction with School Lane and its junction with Eastern Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Fairfield Road, Waterloo Road, North Street, Elm Lane, Park Road North, Peterfield Road, Crosslands Drive, New Lane
DURATION OF ORDER: from 10th May 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 10 days, working between the dates and hours: 10th-13th May 2024 at 2200-0600 and 17th- 20th May 2024 at 2200-0600)
