PUBLIC NOTICE

LONDON BOROUGH OF BROMLEY

The Bromley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 2003 (Amendment No. ***) Order 202*. The Bromley (Loading Places) Order 2008 (Amendment No. ***) Order 202*. (Farwig Lane, Bromley)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers.

The effect of the Orders would be to:

(a) introduce/extend waiting/loading restrictions as set out in the Schedule to this Notice;

(b) introduce a loading bay as set out in the Schedule to this Notice.

Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Orders.

Copies of the proposed Orders, of the plans of the scheme and of the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at Bromley Council, Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, BR1 3UH, or by emailing TrafficManagementOrders@Bromley.gov.uk.

ANY person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Director of Environment and Public Protection, Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, BR1 3UH, or by email to TrafficManagementOrders@Bromley.gov.uk. quoting reference ADE(TP)/RP/T100/766 not later than 29th May 2024.

Persons objecting to the proposed Orders should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this Notice may be open to public inspection.

SCHEDULE: -

WAITING RESTRICTIONS

No Waiting At Any Time: -

FARWIG LANE, Bromley (a) the north west side (i) from a point 12 metres north east of the north eastern kerb line of London Lane north eastwards for a distance of 15 metres; (ii) from a point 39 metres north west of the north eastern kerb line of London Lane north eastwards for a distance of 16.6 metres; (b) the south east side, from a point 15 metres north east of the north eastern kerb line of London Lane north eastwards for a distance of 43.6 metres.

LOADING RESTRICTIONS No Loading At Any Time: -

FARWIG LANE, Bromley (a) the north west side (i) from a point 12 metres north east of the north eastern kerb line of London Lane north eastwards for a distance of 15 metres; (ii) from a point 39 metres north west of the north eastern kerb line of London Lane north eastwards for a distance of 16.6 metres; (b) the south east side, from a point 15 metres north east of the north eastern kerb line of London Lane north eastwards for a distance of 43.6 metres.

LOADING BAY

Temporary loading: 30 minutes, 1 hour maximum stay, no return within 2 hours, Bam to 6.30pm on Monday to Saturdays inclusive, except Public Holidays and Bank Holidays: -

FARWIG LANE, Bromley (a) the north west side, from a point 27 metres north west of the north eastern kerb line of London Lane north eastwards for a distance of 12 metres.
