OPENVIEW - BEATRIX POTTER PRIMARY SCHOOL SCHOOL STREET

* The Wandsworth (School Streets) (No. 1) Order 2024

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth on 1 May 2024 made the above order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.

2. The general effects of the Order are to introduce a school street in Openview between its junctions with Magdalen Road and Leckford Road operating between 8.30am and 9.15am and between 2.45pm and 3.45pm.

3. Copies of the Order, which will come into operation on 7 May 2024, and of documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of a period of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made in The Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU.

4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in them on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements of that Act or of any relevant regulations made under that Act have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth on 1 May 2024 made the above Orders under sections 6, 45, 49 and 49 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.

2. The general effects of the Orders and measures are detailed in the Schedule to this Notice. The Orders will be brought in line with the on-street layout.

3. Copies of documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, which come into force on 7 May 2024 are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays in The Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU. The documents will remain available until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made.

Introduction of mandatory cycle lanes Southbound from 1 to 329 Garratt Lane, from 477 to 481 Garratt Lane, from Moreton House to 971 Garratt Lane and from 977 to 1015 Garratt Lane.

Northbound from Iron Mill Place junction to 96 Garratt Lane;

Upgrading existing single yellow lines to double yellow lines on Garratt Lane along the mandatory cycle lanes.

Amending the hours of operation of lengths of bus lane so that they operate between 7am and 7pm on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive in the following lengths of road:-

Southbound from No. 333 to 467 Garratt Lane; Northbound from No. 784 Garratt Lane to Garratt Lane / Wimbledon Road roundabout Southbound from No. 1017 to 1065 Garratt Lane

Making various changes to the parking bays, including removal and introduction of certain bays in the following locations:-

Removal of bays in Garratt Lane:-

Approximately 9 parking spaces opposite 100

3 parking bays totaling approx. 9 parking spaces, outside 100- 104 Garratt Lane which will link up with the existing cycle lane opposite Iron Mill Place. They will be replaced with double yellow lines and loading restrictions operating Monday - Friday 7-10am and 4-7pm

2 disabled persons' parking bays outside 273 Garratt Lane relocated to 271 Garratt Lane

1 disabled persons' parking bay outside Streatham Cemetery (Moreton House end) removed and replaced

with 2 disabled bays outside Streatham Cemetery opposite Garratt Lane / Smallwood Road junction.

1 disabled persons' parking bay outside No. 331 Garratt Lane.

PROPOSED WAITING RESTRICTIONS PRIORY LANE, SW15

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make the following Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.

* The Wandsworth (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Areas) (Amendment No. ***) Order 202*;

2. The general effect of the Order will be to introduce double yellow lines ("no waiting at any time") in lengths of Priory Lane between Lower Richmond Road and a point south of Arabella Drive.

3. Copies of documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposed Order are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays in The Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU. The documents will remain available until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Order.

4. Any person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection to the Director of Environment and Community Services at the address below (quoting reference W/ECS/ TMO2041) within 21 days of the date of this Notice.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 TEMPORARY CLOSURE - BURSTON ROAD SW15

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Burston Road to facilitate Thames Water Utility.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Burston Road from the junction of Upper Richmond Road to the junction of Ulva Road. There will be no waiting at any time.

3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

4. Further information may be obtained from the Council's Network Management section - telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

5. The order will come into operation on 14 May 2024 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by

17 May 2024.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 TEMPORARY CLOSURE - HOWARDS LANE SW15

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Howards Lane to facilitate a new sewer connection.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle or person shall enter, proceed or wait along Howards Lane from opposite number 83 to opposite number 91. There will be no waiting at any time.

3. Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

4. Further information may be obtained from the Council's Network Management section - telephone number (020) 8871 6904.

5. The order will come into operation on 13 May 2024 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by

18 May 2024.
