THE LEICESTER (DE MONTFORT STREET) (TEMPORARY) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicester City Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be, for the following anticipated period of time to:
Prohibit the movement of all vehicles and prohibit waiting and loading at any time on De Montfort Street between its junction with Lancaster Road and a point 20 metres north thereof from 7.30am until 3.30pm each day from Monday 13th May 2024 until Friday 17th May 2024.
Prohibit the movement of all vehicles and prohibit waiting and loading at any time on De Montfort Street between its junction with Lancaster Road and a point 20 metres north thereof from 3.30pm on Friday 17th May 2024 until 7.00am on Saturday 18th May 2024.
Prohibit waiting and loading at any time on De Montfort Street between its junction with Lancaster Road and a point 40 metres north thereof from 7.30am until 3.30pm each day from Monday 13th May 2024 until Friday 17th May 2024.
Prohibit waiting and loading at any time on De Montfort Street between its junction with Lancaster Road and a point 40 metres north thereof from 3.30pm on Friday 17th May 2024 until 7.00am on Saturday 18th May 2024.
This order is necessary to facilitate carriageway redesign works taking place and to prevent the likelihood of danger to the public.
This Order will come into effect on the 13th May 2024 and will continue in force for up to 18 months, or until the order is no longer deemed necessary, whichever is the earlier.
Emergency access will be maintained at all times.
