Mop End Lane, Temporary Footpath Closure Due To Filming

What is happening?

BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL

THE COUNCIL HAS MADE

(Public Footpath No 26, Parish of Amersham) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2024 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath No. 26, at the junction of Mop End Lane following an easterly direction to the junction of Public Footpath No's. 26/4 & 27A. The closure is required in the interest of public safety/ to enable filming.

Alternative route is via Mop End Lane & Public Footpath No 27.

The proposed Order will come into operation on 14 May 2024, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
