What is happening?

THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF KENSINGTON AND CHELSEA 

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES 

AUBREY WALK

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea has made an Order under The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 Schedule 1 - Section 14 (1) (A) and all other enabling powers prohibiting vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below. Where necessary to maintain access for residents and occupiers one way or two-way traffic working may be imposed on affected roads.
 
ROAD CLOSED TO VEHICLES FOR UTILITY WORKS.

Aubrey Walk to be closed from outside of the flank of St George’s Church to outside number 16.

 Diverted through traffic may use Aubrey Walk, Campden Hill Road, Holland Park Avenue, Hillsleigh Road, Campden Hill Square, Aubrey Road, Aubrey Walk, in both directions.

Hillsleigh Road to be closed at the junction of Aubrey Walk.

 Diverted through traffic may use Hillsleigh Road, Campden Hill Square, Aubrey Road, Aubrey Walk, in both directions.

To be closed from 08.00hrs on Monday 13th May 2024 until 17.00hrs on Saturday 18th May 2024, with backup dates of Monday 20th May 2024 until Saturday 25th May 2024 or until such time as these works are completed.

Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.

Nothing in this Order shall apply to anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform or a traffic warden.

Nothing in this Order shall apply to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency.
