Order 2024 Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic

Notice is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order. From 13/5/24 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 24/5/24. Between the hours of 09:30 & 15:30. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads. Roads affected: Church Cross To Memory Cross, Landscove, Church Cross To Memory Cross - For 720 Metres Heading Towards Wass Cross To Hillcroft Past. The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - Church Cross - Landsgrove Primary School - Church Cross To Wash Cross - Wash Cross - Wass Cross To Hillcroft Past Barkingdon Manor, Staverton - Vice Versa.

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: tm road closure required for safe access into carriageway joint boxes for gull services & cabling & jointing.

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: drainage & patching works.

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - True Street Cross, A385 Longcombe Cross To Glazegate Lane, A385 Totnes Road, Totnes Road, Kings Ash Road, Churscombe Road, Road From Marldon Cross To Roots, Totnes Road, Glazegates Cross To Corner Cottage, True Street To Berry Pomeroy Cross.

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: replacement & upgrade of old metallic gas mains to new plastic mains due to location of main & excavations required.
