Hawthorn Crescent - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?

Portsmouth City Council (Hawthorn Crescent) (Temporary Road Closure) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.58) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 21st May 2024 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
HAWTHORN CRESCENT
20 metres either side of No. 352 Hawthorn Crescent.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate water works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
The Order comes into operation on 21st May 2024.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Wembley Grove, Chatsworth Avenue, Highbury Grove, Hawthorn Crescent and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
Cycles to follow vehicle diversion or dismount and follow pedestrian diversion around the works.
