(Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order (No.059) 2024

Notice is hereby given that Stoke on Trent City Council intend to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act, 1991, the effect of which will be to prohibit the driving of any vehicle along Sneyd Street between Elder Road and Hazelwood Close.

The order is to allow for the completion of a gas main replacement and will come into operation on Monday 20th May 2024 to Friday 7th June 2024 or until the works it is proposed to carry out are completed, whichever is the earlier.

Pedestrian facilities will be maintained throughout the period of the closure as far as possible.

Access to properties will be maintained as far as possible. Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained as far as possible.

Nothing in the Order shall apply unless indicated by traffic signs or cones or by the direction of a police officer in uniform.
