(CHURCH STREET, ROTHERSTHORPE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend,
not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the
effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that
length of Church Street, Rothersthorpe as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of
Church Street, Rothersthorpe from the junction of North Street to the
Church.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during
replacement of a stop tap.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on
29th May 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months.
An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for
Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However,
the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an
extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs
Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for
three days.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use North Street and Banbury Lane.

(NECTAR WAY, NORTHAMPTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend,
not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the
effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that
length of Nectar Way, Northampton as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of
Nectar Way, Northampton from Cob Drive to Upton Valley Way East.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during
repairs to structure and removal of TVCB.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on
28th May 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months.
An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for
Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However,
the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an
extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs
Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for
one night.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Upton Valley Way East, Oxford Road, A43,
Swan Valley and Cob Drive.

(LONDON ROAD, NORTHAMPTON) (SERVICE ROAD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF MOTOR VEHICLES) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend,
not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the
effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along that
length of London Road, Northampton (service road) as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length
of London Road, Northampton (service road) from outside no. 326 to
no. 344 London Road.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during
major works on Queen Eleanor roundabout.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on
20th May 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months.
An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for
Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However,
the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an
extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs
Regulations and General Directions 2016.

made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding
along that length of Elkington Road, Welford as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of
Elkington Road, Welford from the junction of Elkington Lane to
Wyggeston Farm.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety
during repairs.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on
13th May 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months.
An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for
Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However,

made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding
along that length of Stanton Avenue, Northampton as set outbelow.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of
Stanton Avenue, Northampton from Ennerdale Road to Kettering Road.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during
carriageway repairs.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on
13th May 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months.
An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for
Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However,
the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an

made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding
along that length of St James Park Road, Northampton as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of
St James Park Road, Northampton from Spencer Bridge Parade to
Seymour Street.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during
telecom works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on
16th May 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months.
An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for
Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However,
the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an
extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs
Regulations and General Directions 2016.

Hillcrest Avenue, Northampton from Kettering Road to Pinewood Road.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during
installation of new supply.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on
28th May 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months.
An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for
Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However,
the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an
extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs

made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding
along those lengths of Northampton Road, Litchborough and
Litchborough Road, Stowe IX Churches as set out below.
LENGTHS OF ROADS TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: Those lengths of
Northampton Road, Litchborough and Litchborough Road, Stowe IX
Churches from Radmore Farm to the A5.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during
repairs to parapet structure.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on
13th May 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months.
An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for
Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However,
the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an
extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs

made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from exceeding
40 mph along that length of Bedford Road, Northampton as set
out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of
Bedford Road, Northampton from The Lakes to High Street, Great Houghton.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during
fibre installation works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 13th
May 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An
application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for
Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However,
the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an
extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs
Regulations and General Directions 2016.
