Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
TONBRIDGE & MALLING AREA
A26 QUARRY HILL ROAD, TONBRIDGE & A26 LONDON ROAD, SOUTHBOROUGH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow bridge maintenance and repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of A26 Quarry Hill Road, Tonbridge & A26 London Road, Southborough, on or after 14th May 2024 for up to 214 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junctions of Brook Street to Bidborough Ridge, between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via A26 Quarry Hill Road, A2014 Pembury Road, A21 Pembury Road, A21 Pembury Bypass, A228 Pembury Road, A264 Pembury Road, A264 Calverley Road, A264 Crescent Road, A264 Church Road, A26 London Road, A26 Mount Ephraim, A26 St Johns Road, A26 London Road and vice versa.
CASTLE STREET, TONBRIDGE TN9 1EX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow new electric connection to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Castle Street, Tonbridge, on or after 28th May 2024 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside 5. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2260 High Street, Lansdowne Road, Lodge Road, Stafford Road, The Slade.
CROWHURST LANE, PLAXTOL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Crowhurst Lane, Plaxtol, on or after 15th May 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Crowhurst Farmhouse, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Winfield Lane, Plough Hill, Mill Lane and vice versa.
STATION ROAD, BOROUGH GREEN TN15 8EX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow underground chamber works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Station Road, Borough Green, on or after 28th May 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Barclays Bank between the hours of 22:30 and 07:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Station Road, A25 Maidstone Road, High Street, A227 Western Road and vice versa.
TEAPOT LANE, AYLESFORD ME20 7LS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow new gas connection to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Teapot Lane, Aylesford, on or after 28th May 2024 for up to 9 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside 42. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Teapot Lane, A20 London Road, Hall Road, The Avenue, The Oaks, Elm Walk and vice versa.
