100 Fern Avenue - Prohibition All Vehicles For Works
What is happening?
CITY OF NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE
(SIDE OF 100 FERN AVENUE) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2024
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Newcastle upon Tyne intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit all vehicles from proceeding on the road to the side of 100 Fern Avenue from its junction with Fern Avenue, southwards, for 27 metres.
2. Appropriate traffic management will be in place during the closure.
3. The Order is required to allow works to be carried out on or near the highway.
4. Exemptions will be provided for vehicles engaged in the works.
5. The Order will come into operation on 20 May 2024 and will continue, as and when the relevant traffic signs are displayed, for 5 days or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
