What is happening?

BIRMINGHAM CITY COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (AS AMENDED) SECTION 14(2)
(BORDESLEY GREEN ETC., HEARTLANDS) (17010878) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is hereby given that Birmingham City Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from entering or exiting BORDESLEY GREEN, HEARTLANDS in either direction at its junction with 

1. FINNEMORE ROAD, HEARTLANDS
2. MARCHMONT ROAD, HEARTLANDS
3. DRUMMOND ROAD, HEARTLANDS
The Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic is required to allow water maintenance works in the carriageway to be undertaken in safety.
These prohibitions shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
The Order will come into operation on 6th May 2024 and will remain in force for a period of FOUR WEEKS or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier.
