TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OF U40352 BOZARD LANE (STOKE ORCHARD PARISH) TEWKESBURY BOROUGH

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the U40352 Bozard Lane Road from its junction with Tredington Road to its junction with Gotherington Fields for a total distance of approximately 3.3 kilometres.

The reason for the intended closure is for works to install Solar Farm infrastructure in the public highway.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF VARIOUS ROADS (TAYNTON AND UPLEADON PARISHES) (NEWENT TOWN) FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the roads as detailed in the schedule below.

The reason for the closures are for works by Severn Trent Ltd.

The roads are expected to be closed at various times on a rolling programme commencing 7th May 2024 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closure taking effect. This order can permit the closure of the roads in any order, or simultaneously as required and it is anticipated all works will be completed by 10th March 2025. TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF C9050 SWINDON LANE (SWINDON VILLAGE WARD) (SWINDON CIVIL PARISH) CHELTENHAM BOROUGH

Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of C9050 Swindon Lane from ‘Morris Hill Level Crossing’ to outside the property known as Number 6 Swindon Lane for a distance of approximately 240 metres.

The reason for the closures is for works by Network Rail.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND RESTRICTION OF A417 WESTGATE STREET/ST OSWALDS ROAD AND FOOTWAYS (WESTGATE WARD) GLOUCESTER CITY

Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of A417 Westgate Street and St Oswald Road and Footways from its junction with Castle Meads Way to its junction with Westgate Giratory for a distance of approximately 318 metres.

The reason for the closure is Bridge Works.

The road is expected to be closed between 19:00hrs to 05:00hrs from 6th May 2024 to 17th May 2024 only or until the works have been completed.

The reason for the closure is for safety reasons whilst carrying out cutting of trees around overhead lines.

The reason for the above restriction is for safety whilst carrying out improvement works related to the Gloucester to Cheltenham Cycleway Scheme.

The reason for the closure is for water service apparatus repair works.
