(FERNDALE ROAD & REGENT STREET, EXETER) ORDER 2024
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PARKING

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council intends to make the above titled order. From 28/5/24 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 18/10/24. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to park or wait on the sections of Affected Roads.

Roads affected: Ferndale Road & Regent Street, Exeter, Ferndale Rd Parking Suspension; From Junction Sydney Rd To Outside 4A/4B Ferndale Rd & Regent St Parking Suspension; From Junction Sydney Road To Junction Pinces Gardens.

THERE IS NO ALTERNATIVE ROUTE.

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: REPLACE OLD METALLIC GAS MAINS WITH NEW PLASTIC MAINS.

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - A396 Stoke Road, A377 Cowley Hill, A377, A3072 Wellparks Hill, A3072 Commercial Road, A3072 Exhibition Road, A3072, A396 Bickley, A396, A396 Stoke Canon, A396 Stoke Road, EXETER.

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: TO REPAIR THE ROAD & STABILISE THE CARRIAGEWAY.

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - Exe Street, A377 Bonhay Road, St Davids Hill, Hele Road, B3183, Queen Street, Northernhay Street.

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: Construction Of New Retaining Wall Under The Iron Bridge.

The no entry restriction on Lower North Street, between Northernhay Street and St Annes Well Mews, will be suspended for the duration of these works to facilitate access.
