Silver Street, Durham, Stopping up of the Highway

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highway (North East) (No. 10) Order 2024 authorising the stopping up of an area of highway south of the Greenwell Building at Silver Street, Durham, in the County of Durham. This is to enable development as permitted by Durham County Council, under reference DM/23/01329/FPA.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/S247/NE/5602). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Durham County Council, County Hall, Room G73-82, Durham, DH1 5UL.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 2 May 2024.
