What is happening?

SANDWELL METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL

The Borough Council of Sandwell (Hagley Road West, Oldbury) (Temporary Service Road Closure) Order 2024 has made an order to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the service road at Hagley Road West, between Nos. 488 to 496. A diversion route will be signed via Hagley Road West. The maximum duration is 18 months but the work is expected to be completed by 10/05/2024 effective from 06/05/2024. Purpose – to facilitate the removal of debris from a chamber by Severn Trent Water. For more information please contact Bethany Bell of Severn Trent Water – 0333 996 9800.

The Borough Council of Sandwell (Swan Lane, West Bromwich) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2024 has made an order to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Swan Lane, which will be closed in its entirety. As Swan Lane isacul-de-sac, no diversion route will be signed. The maximum duration is 18 months but the work is expected to be completed by 31/05/2024 effective from 06/05/2024 (24hr). The Borough Council of Sandwell (Crosswells Road, Oldbury) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2024 has made an order to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Crosswells Road between the junctions of Hall Street (eastern side) and Bloxcidge Street (western side). Access to any affected frontages will be maintained, but only when safety permits. A traffic diversion route will be signed via Station Road, Titford Road, Park Lane, Park Street, Churchbridge, Oldbury Ringway, Birmingham Road, Oldbury Road, Fenton Street, St Pauls Road, Rood End Road, Vicarage Road and vice-versa. The maximum duration is 18 months but the work is expected to be completed by 10/05/2024 effective from 06/05/2024 (24hr). Purpose – to facilitate access to repair a collapsed water service pipe by Severn Trent Water.
