Overleigh - Temporary Road Closure For Manhole Chamber Repair Works

Temporary Closure of Overleigh
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Overleigh - from the junction with Glanvill Road to the junction with Walnut Court. A total distance of 54 metres.
This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out minor manhole chamber repair works.
The Order becomes effective on 16th May 2024 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 20th May 2024 and last until 22nd May 2024 between the hours of 10:00-14:00 for a total of 3 days.
