DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
FOOTPATH CLOSURE EXTENSION
PUBLIC FOOTPATH No. 51 (PART) CROMFORD

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Order made by Derbyshire County Council on 7th September 2023 under Section 14 of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which was to close Public Footpath No.51, from Lea Road for approx. 130m has been further continued.
Alternative route: From the closure on Lea Road travel West and enter High Peak Junction car park. The path out of the car park will take you across the Severn Trent bridge and will join footpath 51 after the closure.
The Public Footpath will be closed until 28th June 2024 or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner, to facilitate public safety during footbridge maintenance.
Derbyshire County Council apologise for any inconvenience caused during the duration of the closure. Any member of the public requiring further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
