Public Notices for Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders
The following public notices shall be served on Thursday 2nd May 2024:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council intends, to make the following traffic regulation Orders under Section 14(1), 14(4) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE 1:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (BURNHAM DRIVE AND DANSTEED WAY, BRADWELL COMMON) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following part of road in order to enable Commhoist to carry out telecoms upgrade works and pole installation works.
Phase 1 – 14th May 2024 – 16th May 2024 (Between 9:30am and 4:30pm each day)
Burnham Drive (Slip Road), Bradwell Common – At its Junction with Dansteed Way.
4-way lights will be in placed on Dansteed Way, Burnham Drive and Stainton Drive to control traffic and maintain access into Burnham Drive.
Phase 2 – 28th May 2024 (Between 9:30am and 4:30pm)
Burnham Drive (Slip Road), Bradwell Common and Dansteed Way V6 to V7 – from its junction with Grafton Street to its junction with Saxon Street.
Whilst the above closure is in place the alternative route will be via Saxon Street, Portway and Grafton Street (and vice versa)
PUBLIC NOTICE 2:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (BRADBOURNE DRIVE (PART), TILBROOK) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following part of road Bradbourne Drive, Tilbrook – from outside Balzers Tool Shop for a distance of 25 metres in an easterly direction Whilst the above closure is in place the alternative route will be via Brickhill Street and Sherbourne Drive (and vice versa). to allow Redbull to install a new data duct 11th-12th May and 18th-19th May 2024:
PUBLIC NOTICE 3:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (DRAYTON ROAD (PART), BLETCHLEY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following part of road Drayton Road, Bletchley – from its junction with Giffard Road to its junction with Hunter Drive. Whilst the above closure is in place the alternative route will be via Lomond Drive and Stoke Road Drive (and vice versa). to allow MBNL to install a new pole for telecommunications equipment 13th May 2024 (9:30am – 3:00pm).
The following public notices shall be served on Thursday 2nd May 2024:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 23 April 2024 made the following temporary traffic regulation Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE 5:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS COFFEE HALL, WOLVERTON, AND SIMPSON ON THE GREEN) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following part of roads to allow Anglian Water to carryout maintenance and new connection works.
Simpson, Simpson on the Green – Outside Number 195. 7th May 2024 – 9th May 2024 (24 Hours).
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Hanmer Road, Simpson Drive and Simpson Road (and vice versa).
Rochfords, Coffee Hall – At its junction with Redway CO02 Coffee Hall. 8th May 2024 – 10th May 2024 (24 Hours).
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Lloyds, St Dunstans, Chapter (and vice versa).
Oxford Street (Access Road), Wolverton – Behind Number 47 at its junction with Green Lane. 28th May 2024 and 30th May 2024 (24 Hours).
PUBLIC NOTICE 6:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (VARIOUS REDWAYS AND ROADS WITHIN MILTON KEYNES – MK MARATHON AND ROCKET 5K EVENT) (TEMPORARY CLOSURES AND RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2024 (Reference: TTRO-1943)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily close various roads and Redways within Milton Keynes for the purpose of facilitating the holding of a relevant event, namely the Milton Keynes Marathon which is being promoted by Mr Andy Hully, Race Director, Milton Keynes Marathon 2024, and Rocket 5K Event 2024. It is anticipated that the following temporary closures will be in effect on Sunday 05 May 2024 and Monday 6th May 2024.
