(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of roads in the County of Northumberland.
U1016 Homilton Hill Junction to Kilham Junction from its junction with the C33 heading in a northerly direction for a length of 375 metres.
C33 County Boundary To Kilham Kennels Junction from its junction with U1016 heading in a westerly direction for a length of 154 metres.
The Order is to be effective from the 20th May 2024 until the 5th June 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 20th May 2024 until the 22nd May 2024 between the hours of 08:00 until 18:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 5th June 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the C33, C32, B6352, B6351 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by GoFibre to moleplough to install 5 poles for overhead works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
