C23 COUNTY BOUNDARY TO EAST LEARMOUTH BRANXTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C23 County Boundary To East Learmouth Branxton from Lightpipe Cottage to its junction with U1002 for a length of 1000 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 9th May 2024 until the 27th May 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 9th May 2024 until the 13th May 2024 between the hours of 08:00 until 18:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 27th May 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the U1010, U1012, C23, U1003, B6350, C21, U1002 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Go Fibre to moleplough and install 2 chambers. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
