What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
HIGHER HALLSTEADS, DOVE HOLES

WHEN: 23 May to 07 June 2024 (for one night only during date range from 1900 – 0500).
WHERE: Higher Hallsteads, Dove Holes from Barmoor Clough roundabout to Hallstead.
REASON: To facilitate Stud provision in centre of carriageway.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Hallsteads, A6 from Buxton Road, Dove Holes to Fairfield Road, Station Road, St Johns Road, Manchester Road, Long Hill, Buxton Road, Market Street, Bridgemont, Chapel By-pass, Barmoor Clough and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
