Public Footpath No. 23 (Part) Stone Rural Parish and No. 36 Sandon and Burston Parish - Temporary Road Closure

STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – (AS AMENDED) PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 23 (PART) STONE RURAL PARISH AND NO. 36 SANDON AND BURSTON PARISH TEMPORARY CLOSURE

Notice is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council, on 7/11/23 made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrians from proceeding along the following lengths of Public Footpaths:

• Part of Public Footpath No. 23 Stone Rural Parish, from its junction with Public Footpath No. 27 Stone Rural Parish in a generally easterly direction for approximately 11 metres to its junction with Public Footpath No. 36 Sandon and Burston Parish.

• The full length of Public Footpath No. 36 Sandon and Burston Parish from its junction with Public Footpath No. 23 Stone Rural Parish in a generally easterly direction for approximately 345 metres to its junction with Burston Lane.

The closure is required under the provision of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 Section 14 (1) (b) following damage to a large footbridge located on the route, that crosses the River Trent.

No alternative route is available.

A plan is displayed on site to show length of public footpath to be closed and the unaffected rights of way in the area.

This Order came into operation on 9/11/23 and will remain in force for a further period of twelve months or until the risk of danger to the public is over, whichever is earlier. If necessary, the Order may be extended for a further period with the approval of the Secretary of State.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 30/4/24 made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit traffic along:

Common Ln, Church Eaton. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=138317259. The Order will come into operation on 7/5/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 9/5/24. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole installation works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Church Ln, Hixon. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=136246889. The Order will come into operation on 6/5/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 31/5/24. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the outfall pipe installation works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit traffic along:

Dale Lane, Haughton. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=138248906. The Order will come into operation on 20/5/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 7/6/24. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the essential repairs to the disused railway structure, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Granville Terrace Back Road, Stone. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=138047544. The Order will come into operation on 21/5/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 23/5/24. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the short comm pipe renewal works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Wilkes Wood, Creswell. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=137982888. The Order will come into operation on 20/5/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 22/5/24. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the Severn Trent Water boundary box renewal works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Mount Rd, Stone. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=135428115. The Order will come into operation on 18/5/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 19/5/24. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the level crossing works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC, TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF 7.5 TONNE WEIGHT RESTRICTION AND TEMPORARY 30 MPH SPEED RESTRICTION

Church Ln and New Rd, Hixon and A51 London Rd, Pasturefields. Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 30/4/24 made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Church Ln, Hixon. A temporary 30MPH Speed Restriction will also be in place on A51 London Rd, Pasturefields. The 7.5 tonne weight limit on New Rd, Hixon is suspended for the duration of this Order. The Order will come into operation on 7/5/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 31/5/24. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the Severn Trent outfall pipe installation works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC, TEMPORARY ONE WAY AND TEMPORARY 10 MPH SPEED RESTRICTION

Various Rds in Staffordshire –Surface Dressing Preparation Works. Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 25/4/24 made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in those roads as listed in the schedule below. A temporary 10MPH Speed Limit and One Way Order (where appropriate) will also be in force on each road. The Order will come into operation on 1/5/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 30/4/25.
