EAST AYRSHIRE COUNCIL

(Barskimming Road,Castle Street, Cowgate, High Street, Loudoun Street & Loudoun Street Car Park,Mauchline) (Temporary Road Closure, Prohibition of Waiting & Suspended Waiting Restrictions) Order 2024

On 30th April 2024 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to facilitate the holding of Mauchline Holy Fair.

Road Closure – Castle Street, Street, Loudoun Street & Loudoun Street Car Park

No Waiting At Any Time -

Barskimming Rd - From B743 to outside House number 18A - Both Sides
Castle Street - Full Length - Both Sides Cowgate - Full Length - Both Sides
High Street - B743 from A76 Trunk Road to Mansefield Road - Both Sides
Loudoun Street - B743 from A76 Trunk Road to 20mtrs South of Barskimming Road - Both sides Loudoun Street Car Park.

The Order commences on 24 May. From 24 May 2024 at 12:00 until 25 May 2024 at 21:00. 

The Order restrictions will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the event zone will be maintained.

An alternative route is Castle Street - A76 - Proceed North to next junction of Know, Diversion End. Cowgate - A76 - Proceed north to junction of Loudoun Street and Turn Left - Diversion End.

EAST AYRSHIRE COUNCIL

(Cessnock Avenue , Hurlford) (Temporary Road Closure & Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2024

On 30th April 2024 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow Carriageway Resurfacing.

Temporary Road Closure – Cessnock Avenue, Hurlford, For 432m

No Waiting At Any Time - Cessnock Avenue , Hurlford, For 432m

The Order commences on 28 May 2024 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 28 May 2024 at 07:00 until 10 June 2024 at 17:00

The road is expected to be closed between 07:00 and 17:00 each day with it being open out-with these times.

The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained whenever possible and safe to do so.

An alternative route will be signed via Drumleyhill Drive to Kerrmuir Avenue to Cessnock Drive to Sherwood Road vice versa.

SOUTH AYRSHIRE COUNCIL

(C44 Turnberry, Girvan) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2024

On 25th April 2024 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order,to allow Carriageway Resurfacing

Temporary Road Closure – C44 from Drumdow Road Turnberry, Girvan, For 2000m.

The Order commences on 13 May 2024 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 13 May 2024 at 08:00 until 27 May 2024 at 17:00.

The road is expected to be closed between 08:00 and 17:00 each day with it being open out-with these times.

The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained when safe to do so

An alternative route will be signed via Diversion from the C44 at Drummuck turning left onto the C21 and continue ahead until the Craighead lodge junction of the B741. 

Turn left onto the B741 and continue until the jucntion of the C44 just after Brunston Cottages and turn left. Continue to location and return.
