TEMPORARY 30MPH SPEED RESTRICTION ON PART OF THE B1066 BURY ROAD, BROCKLEY
Suffolk County Council has made an order for a temporary 30mph speed restriction on the B1066 Bury Road, Brockley from 194 metres south of Hawks Lane to 524 metres north of Hawks Lane to facilitate increased heavy plant machinery using access for strategic pipeline project. Other co-ordinateo works may also take place during this period. It is intended these measures will operate from 01/05/2024 -30/04/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). TEMPORARY 30MPH SPEED RESTRICTION ON PART OF THE U7419 BRANDS LANE, HAWSTEAD
Suffolk County Council has made an order for a temporary 30mph speed restriction on the U7419 Brands Lane, Hawstead from 32 metres east from the junction with Folly Lane for 428 metres eastbound to facilitate safety during use of temporary access by heavy plant machinery. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. It is intended that these measures will operate from 01/05/2024 -30/04/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C486 CREETING ROAD WEST, STOWMARKET
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C486 Creeting Roaa West, Stowmarket from no. 40 for 30 metres south eastbound to facilitate a new water supply. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion route will be Stowupland Road, Station Road East, the A1308, the B1115 and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will operate from 01/0572024 -03/05/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C624 HIGHAM ROAD, TUDDENHAM
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the C624 Higham Road, Tuddenham from the junction with Cavennam Road for 50 metres southbound to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion route will be Icknield Way, The Street, Cavenham Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 01/0572024 -03/05/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to TBF Traffic. Tel: (01449) 490865.
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE F8944 LIME WALK, ACTON
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following footways in the following phases:
l. the F8944 Lime Walk, Acton from no.
2. to Lambert Drive 2.the F8944 Lime Walk, Acton from no. 11 to no. 19 Lime Walk
3. the F8944 Lime Walk, Acton from no. 21 to no. 55 Lime Walk.
This is to facilitate excavating and installing ducts. Other coordinated works may also take place during this period.
The diversion routes will be:
1.Lambert Drive, Vicarage Lane, Lambert Drive and vice versa
2. Lambert Drive, Vicarage Lane, Jennens Way and vice versa
3. Canon Pugh Drive, Tamage Road, Canon Pugh Drive and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 10/05/2024 -16/05/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to Granemore Group. Tel: 0345 017 9600.
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C715 ROAD FROM THE 8321 TO THE C720, LINDSEY
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C715 Road from the 8321 to the C720, Lindsey from the entrance to Woodcote for 75 metres westbound to facilitate an electrical service connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will De open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion route will be Kersey Road, Priory Hill, The Street, Church Hill, Cherry Hill, Hall Road, Boxfbrd Road, Uplands Road, Wickerstreet Green, Cox Hill, Ellis Street, Broad Street, Swan Street, Church Street, Broad Street, Road from the C719 to the A1141, Rose Green Road and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will operate on 01/05/2024 from Bam until 6pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). TEMPORARY 30MPH SPEED RESTRICTION ON PART OF THE C708 BILDESTON ROAD, WATTISHAM
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order for a temporary 30mph speea restriction on the C708 Bildeston Road, Watfisham from Baytree Farm to Clay Hill Lane to facilitate plant crossing and signage for the pipeline project. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. It is intended that these measures will operate from 10/0572024 -09/11/2025 (or longer if extended by the Minister). SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL (PARISHES OF BARTON MILLS AND WORLINGTON) (WORLINGTON ROAD AND MILDENHALL ROAD) (B1102) (30 MPH SPEED LIMIT AND REVOCATION) ORDER 2024
On 24/04/2024 Suffolk County Council made the above order under Section 84 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. The effect of which is to extend the 30mph speed limit on B1102 Worlington Road/Mildenhall Road from a point 340 metres southwest of its junction with the C614 Station Road, Barton Mills in a south westerly direction for a distance of 123 metres. The provisions of the Suffolk County Council (Parish of Barton Mills) (B11D2 Worlington Road) (30 mph Speed Limit) Order 2015 are hereby revoked.
A copy of the Order, which comes into effect on 03/05/2024, may be seen with advance notice at the address below, 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday: also at Mildenhall Library. Mildenhall Hub, Sheldrick Way, Mildenhall, IP28 7JX, 9am - 5.30pm Monday -Friday; 9am - 5pm Saturday and 10am - 4pm Sunday. If anyone wishes to question the validity of the order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, or on the grounds that any of the requirements of the Act or any instrument made under it nave not been complied with in relation to the order, they may within six weeks of the date on which the order was made apply to the High Court for this purpose.
