What is happening?

PUBLIC NOTICES

The COUNCIL propose to make The Stirling Council (Main Street, Cambusbarron) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2024 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).

This Order proposes to:-
Introduce ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restrictions on Main Street to improve advance visibility at the new zebra crossing.

Objectors should send their reasons in writing to the Head of Service, Environment and Place by e-mailing traffic@stirling.gov.uk quoting reference TM/6 - SRO/2024(205) by 22-5-24.

The COUNCIL propose to make The Stirling Council (20mph Speed Limit) (Stirling) Order 2024 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).

This Order proposes to introduce a 20-mph speed limit on Albert Place, Cowane Street, Drip Road, Dumbarton Road, Goosecroft Road, Lower Bridge Street, Port Street and Raploch Road, Stirling as part of a walking cycling living Stirling project.

Objectors must state their reasons in writing to the Head of Service, Environment and Place by e-mailing traffic@stirling.gov.uk quoting reference TM/6 - SRO/2024(206) by 22-5-24.

The COUNCIL propose to make The Stirling Council (20mph Speed Limit) (Plean) Order 2024 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).

This Order proposes to make permanent the 20mph speed limit currently in place on the A9 and Main Street, C64 and Parkside Court, Plean. This Order will also introduce a 20mph speed limit on Gillespie Terrace and Main Street (A9) over the extents of that section currently subject to a 30mph speed limit to the south-east side of East Plean Primary School through to Cardrowan. 

The extension of the 20mph speed limit is being implemented in the interests of road safety
